RickH - I'm using the BIOS as is everyone else that I've ever heard of except for you and one other person on another forum. I regularly read about 9 or 10 forums and everybody is OCing this board in the BIOS. Like I stated above, if you use the jumpers it locks the memory speed at 1:1 and you lose the great advantage of being able to overclock your memory speed. Overclocking your RAM is like getting extra performance for free. These asynchronous RAM busses are one of the neat things about these P4 overclocks that aren't available to most Atlon OCers.
It's certainly true that some people are having a harder time OCing than others, but this is normal in the wonderful world of overclocking.
You have to remember a few things: There are never any guarantees when it comes to OCing, some people get super results, some do OK, others get barely anything.
Also remember that this P4 Northwood stuff is pretty cutting-edge, The processors are new, the chipsets are new, the fast RAM speeds and "PC2700" RAM are new. That adds another dimension to an already dodgy area.
