Does anyone that's been paying attention know the major difference between these two boards (besides the $40 price difference?) AAT has been reviewing the P4PE, and lists it at 113 at newegg on their price guide, but when I go to newegg, it says the P4PE/L is $113 while the P4PE is $151. Which board did AAT review?
Can anyone shed any light on this for me? I kind've have my mind set on getting the P4PE that AAT reviewed, but want to make sure that's actually the one listed at 113.
btw, specs and such if you want it: I'm going to be sticking a 2.53 chip on there along with a 40gb 7200rpm maxtor, 512 of 2700, audigy platinum 2.0 sc, an unknown video card (haven't decided), and a cendyne (rebadged lite-on) 52/24/52 cdrw. I'm probably not going to be OC'ing this thing or running 24/7 with it. it'll be a home computer with the sole purpose of staving off boredom.
will the p4pe/L suffice? any other suggestions? thanks (also, I checked asus' website, and they mention nothing on the /L.)
help, my bonus is burning a hole in my pocket.
