The power LED connections don't match. The case has a 2 pin connector, but the motherboard has a 2 pin, 3 wide connector. Is there any kind of adapter that would be cheap to buy or should I just live with non-standard connection sadness?

Is the Q-Connector no help? Can you maybe make up an adaptor lead?

Do you need the power led to know whether your system is on or not? I don't have it plugged myself.

I guess it's not really worth it haha I just think it's weird that there's no standard size for the plug. I guess coolermaster could be to blame. I could probably just split the connector down the middle and do it that way. Reversing the + and - won't hurt anything if I mess up right?

Sounds to me if you just connect the 2 Pin's into the Postive/Negative spots on the mobo it would work just fine, assuming the 3rd is just a ground wire.

Uh, when is the connection NOT a 2pin? I've dealt with a quite a few cases and they are all 2-pin. I've never heard of this 2-pin wide 3-pin long. Are you sure you are not confusing it with another kind?

I've seen it on mobos sometimes there are 3 pins, two + and one -. It will take either the split three-pin connector, or the two-pin connector from the case. Is that not the situation here? Is the case three-pin split, and the mobo only two-pin? That could be a problem.

Did Asus change their Q-Connector or something? It used to be 2 pins. 2 pins is standard, it's not Coolermaster's fault.

The GA-EP35 I own has the "xox" pins. The Power LED plug of my P182 has the same configuration. However, the LED doesn't work either way I plug the cable in (yes, it says P_LED next to it and also in the manual, I must be unlucky or something ). I do remember seeing the "xx" ones on my older motherboards though.

You can also just pull both wires outta the connector, and plug em in bare. Very easy.
