P5W DH Deluxe cold boot problem

System worked OK for about 1 month and refused to boot after complete power off (unplug PSU from outlet). Symptoms after repowering and pressing case's power switch (on bare system when only CPU/Heatsink installed): MB's green LED is on and nothing more, fans are not spinning, nothing.
It's possible to boot eventually by pressing the case's and PSU's switch numerous times and after that the system starts up without single problem before the next total powering off.
Checked PSU with other system and it looks fine.
Any thoughts?

Blown Power Supply is more than likely the problem. Could be that the one of the rails still works and is giving the computer enough power to light an led but nothing more. You also need to have ram and cpu to get the computer to even think about powering up. Just cpu will not do it.

Thanks, but I can start the system every ~20th time (even after complete power off) and then it works fine until the next complete power off (last time when I've managed to boot I ran Prime95 on both cores for 8 hrs without single problem). I've checked the PSU with other similar system and it starts OK.

Even more strange stuff
I've replaced the PSU with Antec TruePower Trio 650W and now it boots OK but when I put my original SeaSonic S12-430 I couldn't reproduce the problem as well. Miracle if take into account that nothing was changed and I was able to reproduce it with 100% reliability before.
Any thoughts?

Must be a bit horrifying to discover an updated asus bios release fixes this "cold boot" problem.

According to my readings there are several "cold boot" probems so who knows which one was fixed. Anyway mine is disappeared left me very suspicious about stability of my system
