DO NOT LET HIM BACK IN THE NFL

The guys is a plague and has not changed his lifestyle at all. He has done NOTHING (Outside of, I hear, moving a strip bar inside his house -_-) to deserve reinstatement.

Anyone else agree with this??

I can't recall but didn't pacman get suspended before he even got convicted of anything. Seems kind of BS to me. So what if he is a thug, it is the NFL and not the Boy Scouts of America.

The question is "What didn't he do"...

I believe recently they found out that he ordered a hit on a bouncer at a bar and the guy was found shot in the back and is now paralyzed for life.

That on top of the rest of the laundry list of stuff.... he should be banned for life from anything and everything. Heck IMO they should just lock him up right now.

If we are going to go by what a man has been tried of, not found guilty of then lets ban Ray Lewis for killing a man, Jamaal Lewis for selling coke....ect ect....I believe you could make a better case against Tank Johnson for lifetime banning than Adam Jones.

So he is a bit of a scumbag. *shrugs* I don't care what he does off the field. IF he is in jail he obviously can't play unless they come up with a creative work release program. If the league has rules in place for such things and he broke them, I guess he is out.

The guy has been convicted of everything under the sun. Just because they don't have enough evidence to directly link him, yet, to the person who ordered the hit on the now paralyzed man doesn't mean that he is without fault.

I don't think Ray Lewis killed the person. I do think that Ray Lewis knew way more about the situation than he let on. Just my opinion

I find it funny that the "class" team was rumored to be interested in Pacman. He would make a good patsie

I live in the Nashville area so I'll be glad to see the guy gone. He is a plague to the team and regardless of how many of those charges have turned into convictions you have to admit that the amount of them points at something being wrong with the guy. It's one thing to get in trouble once and have charges dropped but this guy is going to set records before he's done in the league. And i'm talking about criminal records.

I would like to say though that Pacman Jones is an INCREDIBLE football player and TBH thats what matters in the NFL, not how great a person you are. If the legal system doesn't want to put him in jail and he has already served an NFL suspension I see no reason why he shouldn't play this year, in fact I am hoping my Cowboys end up getting him because he is a freaking beast.

Seems to me the problem lies with the courts being too lenient. If he's in jail he won't be playing football.

That being said, there's enough football players in the world. The NFL could easily make do without him and I don't know of any other employer who would give a job to someone with a background like he has.

It's great to see the Cowboys embracing their past. Pacman should be a perfect fit.

Just another reason for me to dislike Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. :|

Who gives a shit what he does off the field period? The problem isn't that athletes are poor role models, the problem is that people look up to athletes as role models. WTH does somebody who runs fast know about being a good person?

Drug testing and these kinds of things ONLY exist to mitigate the image of the black athelete to a predominantly white consumer base. It's all about selling the product, and to get past the inherent prejudice in middle america one must market it the right way.

Adam Jones is a ball player, and a very talented one. I'd love to see him play ball next year, regardless of what kind of person he is. As if we *really* know any of these people anyway.

Good points. On second thought I'm feeling more like. Go ahead and break the law just do not expect to have a job after your debt is paid. If he was convicted and paid his debt, why hold that against him.

I'm going to have to disagree with the drug usage policy, what you say is pure racist BS.
