Manny Pacquiao is a beast, manhandling and dominating a guy that has a foot reach and 17 pound advantage. I want to see a fight against Floyd Mayweather... that's the only intriguing fight left.

But boxing in general is not as exciting as MMA. You *will* see exciting fights in an MMA card. You have BJJ guys, Judo guys, Wrestlers, MT strikers, Boxers, Sambo guys, Karate guys, so many styles overlapping that you can never expect the same result. Anything literally can happen.

In boxing it's going to be a KO by a punch or a decision.

In MMA it can be a submission, and there are hundreds of ways people can get subbed. A guy could lose after being slammed, a guy could get KO'd, the possibilities are endless.

Not every fight features Jon Fitch or GSP. The general consensus for combat sports fans I'd say is the same.

Watching high level black belts grappling is fucking amazing. Guys like Roger Gracie, Jacare, Maia, etc.

MMA is not bjj that's why bjj blackbelts regularly get submitted by non-bjj guys in MMA. If you like bjj so much go watch bjj tournments. If you like wrestling so much, go watch wrestling tournments. The last MMA fight I found entertaining is Anderson Silva beating Forrest Griffin. MMA is pretty much a fad and only really Canadians and nerds like to watch it on a regular basis.

GSP fights like 2 times a fucking year, there are thousands of fights a year. Not every fight is a lnp piece of shit.

You probably watch only the most popular UFC events if the last fight you found entertaining was Silva vs Griffin, because that was ages ago.

LOL the reach advantage was 1/2 an inch, Manny was much shorter but if anything that helped him.

Who really thinks that submissions are fun to watch? I understand there's alot of strategy involved, but there is in chess too, and I sure as hell don't want to watch that on TV...

Who said I just liked them doing just BJJ and wrestling? BJJ is not MMA but BJJ is a part of MMA which is why many of them incorporate their GNP work with their BJJ wrestling work to dominate the ground. Seems like you just cant appreciate ground work.

Boxing has gone downhill. Lets put Pac-Man in a fight with the guy whos been out for almost a year for cheating and who was dominated by Mosley. Mosley the guy who was dominated by Mayweather and his last fight was just horrible.

Now whos left for the Pac-Man to fight? There's Mosley, who Mayweather already manhandled. Rematch against Cotto? Marquez? There's pretty much no one whos left for him to fight thats even interesting anymore.

I agree mma beats boxing anyday but the latest big mma fights have sucked ass. All the guys willing to put it all on the line aren't good enough for title matches and all the champs are too scared of getting caught and losing the belt so they fight so damn conservative. Only champs right now IMO worth the price of admission would have to be Shogun or Cain. Watching Silva or GSP nowadays is like watching paint dry.
