The fight was for the WBC 154-pound title even though the contract weight was 150 pounds. Margarito weighed 150 at Friday's weigh-in, but was 165 on the unofficial HBO scale before the fight while Pacquiao, who had been 144.6, was 148 pounds.

Pacquiao also gave away 4½ inches in height and was at a six-inch reach disadvantage, but that didn't matter either.

WTF - are we even watching the same fight? Even ignoring their documented stats, Margarito's reach advantage is easily visible.

If you watched the fight the "Tale of the Tape" showed that Margarito's reach was only 1/2 inch better than Pacquiaos.

In any event - let's hope that Mayweather/Pacquiao camps will FINALLY come to an agreement and get this dream fight going. If it happens, I will be flying to Vegas to watch that go down.

It was a typo I believe because it said 1/2" during the fight.

Now whos left for the Pac-Man to fight? There's Mosley, who Mayweather already manhandled. Rematch against Cotto? Marquez? There's pretty much no one whos left for him to fight thats even interesting anymore.

Clearly Pacman goes up to Middleweight and fights Sylvester (IBF champ only 5-8), Pirog (WBO Champ but 6 ft 1), or Sergio Martinez (WBC Champ 5-11 same height as Margarito) which is assuming Martinez can beat Paul Williams this coming weekend and retain his belt (he already lost once).

If I was Pacman, I wouldn't fight anyone over 6 ft like Paul Williams because it's so much of a disadvantage. But if he really wanted to up his legend, he could fight 6ft and up guys for a real challenge. Hell, when it's all said and done I think Pacman will become more of a legend winning at such a clear disadvantage than risking a loss - which can only be done by a KO since nobody heavier than him will outpoint him.

Imagine winning a title in NINE different divisions? Especially to 160 pounders... that would just be incredible. How he will be able to gain 7 or 8 pounds of muscle will be the only question.

A guy next sitting next to me at the bar had a Margarito recently . Said it packed a real punch.

What's a Margarito, you ask? It's a male Margarita. It's got a gherkin floating in it.

The guy said he always saved the gherkin for last, and then sucked it like a two dollar whore sucking a sailor. I left before he got to it. I had tile to re-grout. Life is all about priorities, you know.

I understand in boxing you're supposed to punch your opponent. Repeatedly. Is this true?
