i'm beginning to feel that you peasants and undesirables aren't appreciating my presence here. what do i gain from trolling, OC? i paid off 11k in the last month. i've carried a balance for over a decade....at one time owing 40K. my cc limit across all cards is > 75k. i am overjoyed and cannot tell you how great this feels. i feel like the invisible chains of slavery have been taken off of me. life is good.

Congrats! Paid my credit line a few months ago as well, I had been carrying a balance on it for almost a year. I kept paying part of it, only to take more again. Construction work will do that.

Now be prudent and start directing that money to savings or other loans.

I am a fan of credit cards, but only if you have the self control to not allow them to let you overspend. If you don't feel you have the discipline, you might want to get rid of them.

hey Sherlock Holmes,you're wasting my responses. i only got 2 left. i may have to push retirement to 17k posts if you dont stop.

40k, 50k....who's counting? i carried a high balance at the low point of my life. i did stop paying bills, they ended up dinging my report, so i started paying again. lol. and yes, no cc company has bothered to lower my limits. they know i am a good customer. now i will save my last responses for something worthwhile. hint: not you.
