Have you tried Excedrin? Aspirin, acetaminophen, (Tylenol) and caffeine. That's about the only thing that works on my headaches.

when i had brain surgery, morphine and vicodin did absolutely nothing for pain, but percocet worked like a charm!
why do i need to apologize? there's like 50 million posts on AT, i cant keep up with them all.
perc/vic do more to make me sleepy than take pain away. oxy much better for me. demorol in an IV also works well but has a real short duration.
Come on...it's brianmanahan...ignorant statements are all he ever makes.
The guy is like rainman...with a severe oxygen deficiency.
Although, until this thread...I never knew why he was the way he is...
100 bales of hay on the ground outside the barn, thunder storm approaching, I was all but in tears from the pain, wincing with even the tiniest movements, let alone putting hay in the barn. Nothing else I could have done though, I just rationalized that I'd be doing the same thing with pain killers in me; so the pain was all in my head.
The hardest part for me aside from the pain is anger management and not being a dick.
In the realm of prescription pain killers, which do you prefer, percocet or hydrocodone? Why?
I'm taking hydrocodone for my back and it seems to do the trick, however, my sister in law had a kidney stone which they had to blast out and she had a catheter in as well. She is taking percocet for her pain and swears by it.
Just curious which is "better" or why one is prescribed over the other.
Looks like percocet is oxycodone vs hydrocodone for the other.
