None, I'm a man and can handle the pain.

That's all fine and well but this I will tell you, if your ever unfortunate enough to have a kidney stone I doubt that anyone could handle that kind of pain on willpower alone, it's comparable (or worse) than being shot.

Oxycodone>Hydrocodone>Fentanyl>Morphine>Codeine>Tramadol (my tastes)

Never was lucky enough to sample some oxymorphone or hydromorphone, though.

*edit - Odd, there is a space in 'Tramadol' in my post, but when I go to edit it shows as one word. The matrix is glitching.

Probably because there is no other spacing so it's preventing you from posting a 50+ character "word".

I forgot I was prescribed Tramadol once...I could take that first thing in the morning and it would still prevent me from sleeping 12+ hours later. Hydrocodone had a similar effect but not quite as pronounced.

You haven't experianced pain until you get a massive infection that takes over your left leg and causes it to baloon to twice its normal size.

I couldn't sleep for 3 days and spent most of that time on the floor figuring out the best way to kill myself.

You've never had horrible back pain then.

Yea I have; two weeks ago in fact. I have back pain constantly, but when it goes out, I can't do anything for four or five days, with the first two days of that being virtually immobile. The last episode, I was sleeping on my stomach, and my back tweaked when I turned over. I ended up jammed against the headboard for 45 minutes because I couldn't move, and change position. I eventually got settled, but getting out of bed is a 15 minute ordeal, and after finally getting up, I move at the blazing speed of ~1ft/sec. If I had to deal with that all the time, I'd just have my spinal cord severed, and move around with my arms...

My wife had them. she is kinda a wimp when it comes to pain. but even teh doctor said they are one of the most painful things to have. if you have a big one it's worse then child birth! even she agreed.

I have had minor ones that caused me a bunch of pain. not huge ones like she went through

lol then you haven't had true pain.

Joint pain/back pain/muscle aches = naproxen
Really bad headaches = Excedrin Extra Strength Aspirin
Minor headaches = ibuprofen liquid gels
Fever related body aches = tylenol

For me narcotics do not get rid of the pain, they just make me feel off(not even high, just off). And yes, I have a bad back, knee, and ankle so I know what pain is.

When I had really bad back pain and was taking upwards of 40mg of oxy at a time, it really just put me in a good mood and let me forget about the pain more than really take it away. But when I had a vasectomy, when I had a large infected cyst that was incredibly painful, I was amazed at how well opiates worked, they really made the pain just disappear. I guess it depends on the person and the cause of the pain... opiates just work better at some things than others I guess.

How did you finally kill yourself? Inquiring minds want to know...

So I have to say that this hydrocodone makes me feel really, really drunk. It also makes ATOT far more entertaining.

Neither !!! Which gives a better high the Ocycodone/Perocet vs. the Hydro. The Oxy of course as it's a stronger med. Been there and done that already. They're both a bitch to get off of... now if only I could drop the Xanax's. ( which is even worse)

Ursolic acid, more potent than any synthetic COX-1 or COX-2 inhibitor known to man.

I don't even take the novacain at the dentist to get a tooth pulled. Like you would know what I've experienced.

Vicodin and hydrocodone do nothing for me.
I had knee surgery years ago and I think it was darvon that helped with the pain.

dilaudid is probably the best for short acting

norco 10/325 is good if you dont need more than 40-60mg a day..

yeah. dilaudid is amazing stuff but short acting.

I have some 10/325 and i refuse to take more then 2 a day. but rarely need more then that. it works well enough.

have some 5-325 too but for some reason when i take the lower dose i itch all over. the higher doesn't do that to me.

He's not a badass. It just means he has major nerve damage.

or he is full of shit. guys who brag about "i'm a man i don't need pain meds" "i do tooth extractions without Novocain" its always bullshit he is going out of his way to prove how manly he is.

or you are right major nerve damage.

Jack Daniels.

Ultram is a good non-narcotic painkiller. Opiods don't do much for me.. make me loopy but don't diminish any pain.

Lortabs have acetaminophen and that always concerns me if I have to take them for extended periods.

Ultram contains tramadol, which is an opiate...
