440 does not break masks at the distance that i shoot at that rate from. i need not give the dimensions, but this is one of the largest hyperball fields i've played in- i mean it's huge.
i am going on 50 this year, no need to explain to me about irresponsibility. that's why i marked my gun, so as to not be irresponsible.
and btw, i've tested 440 on my very own mask at point blank just to make sure if for any reason their was an accident the person would be ok- it withstood it, no cracks, and i played w/ the mask until now (since i stopped).

btw, when i used to play actively w/ my autococker, everyone except me shot hot on the field and i mean hot- 400+.

just thoguht i'd make it clear that i am responsible when i play.

At 400 fps you marker becomes a firearm and if you shoot someone with it you can be charged with as a felon. Where do you live again ?

Yeah, but will my mask be OK if you shot me in the face on accident? What about John Newbie with his Brass Eagle gun and mask he bought as a package at Walmart? I go out with gloves and a camo "scarf" thing on most of the time so I have no exposed skin, some people are not so well prepared.

You made a mistake in your interpretation of the tests results, and of my post. I said <<No barrel will ever give you more range than another barrel. Rifling or Spiral Porting will not improve accuracy, and in some cases can completely ruin it.>>
Yes, different barrels will give you different accuracy, but it is not a result of porting or rifling. Up untill the Flatline barrel for the M98, no barrel shot a different distance than another either. Simple physics distance = velocity * time. The flaw in your test is that you did not re-chrono for each barrel. You accidently made a 2 variable test.

THELAIR: Those TS1's are amazing guns. They got renamed AT85's when tagline bought the design. They also got slightly re-enginered, so they are much more reliable now. I know a group of guys named the TSOOG (TS One Owners Group). They go to the michigan monster game every year and scare the crap out of people by firing over a dozen of them at once.

Skoob: True, they can be too much money to be worth it to some people, but keep in mind that you can get some 57ci tanks for about $100 now.

Now you're just plain lying. I just showed you how your attempt to be safe by turning your adjuster to a certian point will not solve the problem. And your little test on ONE mask with ONE set of lenses is obvious proof that it must be ok for all lenses <sarc>.

Everyone Else: I hope none of you take the abracadabra issue as an indication of paintball in general. Any profesional field chrono's at least once a day, and has refs that could EASILY spot a gun shooting that hot. I've got friends that can shoot thier hand with a blank burst of air, and tell you within 10fps how fast the gun is shooting. (One of them can tell you what brand of paint a ball is by the taste too )
Abracadabra would be lucky to esacpe any real field without a beating.

I play with a 98 and I love it. Also I got hit from like 40 ft away with a gun running at about 370, and I bleed through the skin, and was swelled up for at least a month and a half. My coworkers thougt I was mugged or something. That was the first time I had been hit and I still want to play. So that shows how fun it is.

i have a spyder se and i love it... i was thinking about an electronic gun... but i'd rather plug the money into my computer. maybe i'll get an autococker sometime... i have all the camo, which makes it really fun!

all my friend and i have these bb guns called airsoft guns and they shoot rubber bullets about as big as reulare bbs and they sting but no one get really hurt...plus they are only had gans but they are 1 to 1 scale of real models....
