I agree, but to a point, if the child is out on the road and stumping for mommy or daddy, and they are an adult (18+) then they are putting themselves out there for any acrimonious remarks that come their way.

Hey as far as The Eagles go The Big Lebowski got it right. But I'm biased, early in their career I drove an hour each way to catch a 25 minute "concert" by them. Took longer to get out of the parking lot than the show lasted.

BTW the Daily News has always been, and always will be, the antithesis of a class publication.

I used to play in a band that the lead singer refused to sing any Eagle song requests in the 80's it was that saturated.

He would wander off and take a break, we had a few others that could, as we had 5 people singing harmony most of the time anyways.

I was the lamer playing drums, I never could sing. Wasn't bad though, or they wouldn't have wanted me around.
