If you happen to find one at the B&M, it should be marked down to like $14. They were marked down a couple of weeks ago, so finding one at B&M may be difficult. Anyway, the Panasonic 2.4GHz gets spotty reviews. Last week, I found a Southwestern Bell 2.4GHz with call waiting/caller ID (silver phone in a silver box) marked down to $40. You may still be able to find one of these at B&M. SWBell phone has great range and is perfectly clear.

If anyone lives in L.A., and is intrested in the $40 southwestern bell 2.4 that an above post mentioned, I saw a whole shelf of them in Valencia. No clearance stickers, but all rang up $36 or so.

I think the SW Bell 2.4 is an ANALOG cordless phone.. it really sounds bad..
The Panasonic is Digital (possibly DSS) and sounds great.

This is a great deal for a Panasonic 2.4GHz but I think I'll pass since it's not digital DSS. Judging from the comments I read in this review that LuZer posted, it seems you can do better with other Panasonic phones. I already have an analog Panasonic 900MHz which suits my needs just fine. If you don't already own a cordless phone then I would suggest getting this, awesome price for a nice phone.

Non-DSS phone are subject to a ton of interference from other 2.4Ghz devices (such as upcoming Bluetooth, just to start.) B/c 2.4 band is uregulated, everyone and their mother is building devices to run there.
