Lowered the price by 4 dollars, also theres a coupon code somewheres out there...Doesn't help a whole lot, but covers some of the shipping. You can get the blue color too, but no free handset thing with the blue color.

Just in case you hadn't tried it yet, even though the rebate limit is THREE per household, the free handheld speaker and mic unit is limited to ONE. If you buy more than ONE radio, you will still only get ONE of the handsets. I guess the only way to go around this is to order each radio on its own order and I am not sure if that means per address or what.

One more thing......on the last checkout screen, it says that the TWO items will ship seperately with an estimated ship date of 12/26/01 for the radio and (yes, get this) 12/26/02 for the mic. Wait a whole year for the mic? Anyone have any idea what this is all about?

I bought the silver one with the free case. One came through UPS, the other one came 3 days later through USPS.
