Ah, so I assume you live in socal? The chinatown here has gone downhill. Too many Vietnamese moving in. Everyone is moving out to the San Gabriel valley and diamond bar enclaves for their chinese food.

definetely, lived in DB for 11 years . . . chinese food places EVERYWHERE

then moved to the SG valley 3½ years ago . . . MORE CHINESE food places!

I think the Panda Express food is tasty, but barely average for mall food. I got really bad food poisoning at a Panda Express in Boston once and never ate at one again after that. I really should have gone to the hospital, but unfortunately I tried smoking a huge ammount of herbal remedy to cure myself. Very bad experience, I ended up outside trying to puke on the T tracks for over an hour as my roommates made sure I did not pass out or anything.

There isn't a Panda Express around here? We eat at some place called Rose Garden and Hochimin or something. I dunno, $5 you get chow mein/fried rice + two picks (I usually get spicy chicken and sweet and sour pork). Not that bad, and it is equivalent to three of my regular meals.

Used to go to a Chinese place in DC called "Big Wong", then I went back this summer and there's a place called "Ful-Kee". Some of these name cracks me up.

I was raised on the real stuff but the americanized stuff is good enough for me. A few tasty dishes here and there.

I go to Panda Express for greasy, delicious stir-fry, not for Chinese food.

I worked at an authentic chinese resturaunt, so muych differnant than the "microwave chinese" food they serve there. Tastes like ass.

It's not really microwaved. Everything is either fried, stir fried, or sauteed over there. Plus, their kitchen looks better/cleaner than those of many "authentic" chinese restuarants.

C or lower baby.
