Pandora or other internet radio on the ipod touch?

My buddies and I were just thinking if it would be possible to steam internet radio on the ipod touch...it having wi-fi and safari pre-installed (which I assume comes with flash player built in? Correct me if I'm wrong)

But yeah, thoughts, ideas? Is this possible?

I'm sure it's technically possible, heck I get DI.fm on my old PocketPC. That said the built-in music application doesn't do audio streaming. Someone would need to write an iPhone/Touch application, or like you were hinting at write a Flash-based music player (this would need to be kind of illicit, streaming with Flash requires another license).

i'm beginning to see the value of having so many forum categories. There is an apple forum specially for iPod chat :}

and they ship sept 28, so you'll probably get it around the first of oct.

Apple does not want you to stream music or listen to the radio. They want you to buy music off Itunes so they can reap the profits off that as well.

While I hope Apple gives the ability to stream I'm doubtful they will. Let the hacking begin!

This is what I fear, but I mean...if safari is installed, what's stopping you?

i think currently even the iphone does not have flash in safari. maybe when the itouch myself comes out, a plugin will be released.
