Papa Johns or Pizza Hut?

Papa Johns taste better and is about the same price. Why would you ever order Pizza Hut? A place that has to rely on crust gimmicks can't be trusted to make good pizza

Better yet, order from a local pizza shop that will make GOOD pizza

Depends.

Papa John's has better vegetables and thinner crust, so they are good for supreme (the works) and other veggie/multi-topping pizzas.

Pizza Hut is great for one topping, basic pizzas.

You haven't lived until you've made a peperoni pizza with a pound of pepperoni slices on top. So good, so greasy. I felt like the crap afterwards though.

Pizza hut is better. BUT Papa Johns has the great garlic dipping sauce so it makes up for it.

Pizza Hut stuffed crust... so amazingly unhealthy, but so good as a treat once every few years.

I like PapaJohns because my name is John and I can relate to that. Also I got a free pizza once. I drove to their store and they were locked up. I called them from outside and said, "are you avaliable for pick up?" the guy on the phone said, "no we're closed, where are you?"... I said..."uhhhhh....outside", he said, "oh what do you want." and he gave it to me free.

Your local pizza man is who you want, not commerical crap like PJ or PH.

However, Papa John's is the better of the two. Pizza Hut makes me feel dirty after I eat it, with all that grease.

This is not always true. A lot of the local places around here are not as good as papa johns. There used to be a local place that was really good and cheap too at around 6$ for a large. Sadly it was sold to a different owner who ruined the pizza before eventually turning it into a teriyaki place.

They're about the same as far as I'm concerned. But I agree with a lot of the posters: use a local pizza place. You'll get a much better pizza. :beer:
