Paris museum pass?

I've never been to Paris, but I'm planning a trip. I encountered this during my planning:

It says that: "With the PARIS MUSEUM PASS, you gain free entry, without queuing and as many times as you wish, to over 60 museums and monuments in and around Paris."

So is this true that I will be able to skip the line at the Louvre Museum and go in right away?

If I were you I'd confirm exactly which museums accepted the pass before purchasing.

Yeah, they have it listed on the website. I've seen various tours that offer a "skip-the-line" option, so I'm wondering if this pass is the same thing.

If it is a heavy tourist season, the skip the line feature is worth it. I went last December and there were no lines anywhere and I saved some money just going to each individually (museums are cheaper in winter too, usually)

I went on a trip to Paris with my internship in London and was given a pass. It was pretty sweet. I think I just showed the pass at the entrance. I don't remember waiting in any lines (I think buying the ticket is the bottleneck).

Yes, it works for skipping the queues. Most of the museums had a sign directing you where to go if you had the pass, the smaller ones you may need to catch the attention of the person taking tickets. Skipping the line at the Louvre while it was pouring down rain was worth the price alone.

Yes, you can skip the lines at the Louvre. There is a side entrance with no line that you walk right into with the museum pass.
