I think a lot of the clamor for censorship from both sides is largely manufactured by media attention given to those who most vocally (and degradingly) protest. I mean, I recall when the Dixie Chicks made those comments, and while I found them distasteful, I certainly did not think they should be censorsed. As a libertarian minded person I am consistently opposed to virtually all forms of censorship. It goes both ways - I'm sure many of my opinions are distasteful to others, but that doesn't mean they should be censored.
