Partition information disappeared!

I did a clean install using fdisk, and everything was working fine with a few partitions.

Last night I noticed that my D drive was showing gobbledygook crazy characters instead of what was actually there.

Upon restarting, all of my partitions disappeared, and now I'm left with only C (all files on other partitions lost).

Anybody experience this before? Bad FAT?

One other weird thing... my C drive has always registered as having the FULL disk space of my HDD (as opposed to what I specified for it using fdisk). Harbinger of doom?

Most possible proble is the load information in Master Table lost, after you restore that table, it should be fine.

I did it long time ago, you may need to boot using your DOS Boot disk into dos, then use command FDISK / MBR to restore master boot table. You may need to double check this to see if it is correct command, and backup your important data before doing this. This is a dangeous operation.

Sounds good. I'll try it later when I have my floppy drive handy (comp is a superslim laptop).
