If you want to help your fellow man then give to charity, it isn't the proper role of the federal government to provide healthcare to its citizens.
I'd rather a system be set up where people can get affordable healthcare, and I don't mind my tax dollars going to support such a system, since I'm already forced to contribute to Medicaid and Medicare.
If it isn't a 'proper' role of the federal government, and several states can't afford to, and private insurance companies would rather cut benefits due to costs, whose role is it?
Also, if the ACA is as broken as so many people make it out to be, why not
fix what's broken, rather than throwing it out?
If there is something wrong with your car/computer/house/relationship that can be fixed, do you not try to fix it, or do you just say "can't be fixed" and toss it away?
