Passed A+ OS today

Any idea how long it takes them to send out the A+ certificate in the mail?

Well I am already a college grad working in IT Management. Just wanted to do the cert.
Not necessarily for higher pay.(yeah right). Just to gain more skills for work.

Yep it will not get you a job, BUT it will get your foot in the door.

I have a IS degree and a Mgt Degree and can;t get a job as HR people look for either A+, Network+, MCP. etc... and without that you don;t get a interview. Does not matter I have done as much if not more then others, I can't even get a interview without the Cert's.
The only thing I worry about is the OLD school OS stuff and hardware stuff. Like ISA slots, win 95, etc... So how much of the A+ tests were on older tech? That is what I am worried about.

Now doubly confirmed from personal experience. My current and previous employers both held certs in high regard, in great part because they know they can sell consultants better to clients, if the consultants are certified.
