I did RF for the first time last league. It was pretty fun at first but I kinda got bored pretty fast. But it might have been me getting bored of Incursion itself. I never did get the end game gear for RF. It was insanely expensive.. Can't remember the exact prices right now though but probably needed a good 60 exalts atleast.

End game gear definitely isn't a requirement though. I got to t15 maps just by using Kaoms rings for extra endurance charges and a 4 linked belly of the beast. Had around 8k HP and the build felt really safe.

Yeah. You know me T15 is about where I tend to tap out every league. I was also considering spectral blades too, but went Rf as of this morning

I guess the only confusion I have on RF is when to start using it... like what regen level or health level should I be at?

I'm liking the Delve thus far. Though for the life of me, I can not figure out the stupid fractured walls.

Question on a CWDT setup.
The guide I'm following for RF has this link setup:

4 Link: RRRB
Cast When Damage Taken (as high as you can get), Vortex (as high as your CWDT will support), Immortal Call (as high as your CWDT will support), Stone Golem (as high as your CWDT will support)

Every other CWDT + IC setup I have run in the past usually will recommend capping your CWDT at around lvl7 or so and the IC to match. I guess I don't understand why on this one they recommend leveling it up to the max. I have to REALLY take a hit now to have that combo fire off. Does that make sense?

Level of Immortal Call varies according to your health. Since a RF char will have lots of HP, we don't want it proccing at taking only a little bit of damage.
If it procs on small hits, you won't have the phys immunity on hits on more dangerous hits because IC might be on cooldown.
Getting rid of your endurance charges can be dangerous. Make sure you are running Enduring Cry and casting it when IC procs.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. Once you get some proper gear RF tends to be pretty nice. Just shield charge your way through every level. Bosses tend to be bit tricky, but I still have some resists to increase too. Gotta pick up a Rise of the Phoenix shield. Keep putting it off.

Still have to blow up my first wall in Delve. Each time I try I can't find the wall itself. Annoying.

I made a character today in Delve. My first few delves went fine but then I died randomly (I believe) to darkness. I was standing right beside the cart too both times. Cart was still emitting light so I'm guessing it wasn't an emp mob. No idea what happened. Still in act 1. Can't figure out how I died either time. Glad I'm not in Hardcore.

The walls show up on the mini map pretty well. My suggestion would be to go back and retrace your steps through some early delves, exploring all side areas. Having darkness resist at lower levels gave me enough time to figure out the flares and dynamite.

Yeah I see them on the map (though I'm often not sure what side to approach them from). I go back a retrace but can't seem to find anything to blow up. Is there any indicator or anything?

I'm apparently missing something obvious then. I'm sure when I see it it will be a very "uh duh!" moment for me. I see them on the map, but can not find them while in the tunnel itself.

They really need to do something about the sulfite and being able to manage it the deeper you dive. It's pretty hard to maintain delving (that's a word?) without having to run a bunch of maps to get more sulfite to get back into the mine. I'd guess their intent was to prevent people from just mining continuously - though I feel that was part of the attraction to the whole delve mechanic.

It's working pretty well for me. I'm at level 89 and Im running T7-T8 maps with a delve level of 150. It does take about 5-10 maps for me to refill my sulphite but this is working fine with my level progression. It's nice to not burn out on things like I did last league with the Incursion content. This is my favorite league in quite a while.

I guess I wasn't complaining so much as just sort of wishing there was a mechanic to allow you to stay in the delve for longer periods. I realize you can increase your sulfite capacity, but it would be nice to be able to have you find sulfite in the delve map too so that you could path to it and stay down a little longer if you prefer.

I too have enjoy this league quite a bit thus far too. Its certainly better than Incursion.

I'm not even that deep and I can feel the limitations already. I think some tweaking needs to be done to make it more sustainable. GGG has to juggle between all the different game modes too whcih I'm sure is a hard balancing act.

The delve seems buggy or I'm not understanding but my crawler gets stuck whenever I click on depth 2. Then it won't move no matter which area I click on, it won't portal me, etc. Is that something I'm doing or a bug?

I've noticed Delve is a lot more laggy and buggy then prior releases. I get "failure to join" quite often-especially in the mines. A couple times already I've had daily missions lag out just after I finished the mission. Just yesterday I had a kill the two exiles Zana mission, right after I killed the second the game froze, eventually booted me out to the logout screen. When I came back it said I failed the mission.

I'm not a big fan of delve so far, but I've only gotten down to the mid-40s. I hate being rushed and the the area is unfriendly to my aging eyes. I have yet to find a place to use dynamite, and it seems just about all I'm doing is getting minerals to get into the mine and doing missions in the mines to get other minerals to upgrade my capacites.

The potential is there however. When the Abyss league started a lot of us had a terrible time seeing and GGG improved the graphics considerably.

I'm not sure what you guys mean by stuck... I've never had anything like what you're describing. Sometimes I have to go back to my mining encampment in order to reset my location, but it seems to work fine for me...

I had it twice this weekend. It simply will not trigger the cart to move or to "transport" me into the cave at the waypoint I clicked on. Even when it does work, the reaction time seems so delayed (often times longer than others) I'm not sure if it actually IS working or not. There needs to be more instant feedback if that click has worked or not.

Sounds like the cities in the delves are still broken after the patch too. That's a bummer. I've already lost 3 cities to the "no stairs" bug and to hear that it's still persistent stinks

My notifications for this thread stopped. Here I was thinking you guys weren't talking about anything.

I was pretty neutral on the Delve part of the league until I watched Ziggy's video detailing out all the stuff to explore on the sides of the cart path. Before I was just going from point to point and the rewards were eh. But there is actually a lot of minor paths off the main cart path and there is stuff at the end of nearly all of them. Matter fact, there is almost too much currency on some of the long paths from all the random lost wealth chests.

You need to get your flare count up to around 8+ and your darkness resist up to at least 0%. From there you want to explore every little minor path off the main cart path. If you aren't doing this you are seriously doing yourself a disfavor. You just have make sure you stock up on flares between every point. I went from have 3 walls blown up on Friday to over 50 by Sunday.

I've also found that leveling has been super easy because of the mob quantity in the Delve part. However, I've died way more then ever because of trying to rush items and then dying. Once I understand the flares and darkness resistance better it doesn't happen anymore.
