Not that I condone this in anyway, but does/has anyone messed with macros for POE? I wouldn't really use one myself, but I have to say that my curiosity in just how it works, and how much easier it makes playing etc. I wanted to mess around with one purely out of curiosity but fear getting banned.

I use a flask macro. My pink and ring finger only have about 50% feeling because of an accident I was in. So they're a bit slower and sometimes I can't tell where they're sitting on the keyboard. My flask script uses 3 flasks for 1 button press and I press the other 2 by hand. After using it, I would still use it even if I didn't have an issue. If I couldn't use a flask script I wouldn't even play the game.

In regards to you being banned, that's not something that's going to happen. As long as you don't promote the use of it all over reddit or their message boards...they don't care. If you want I can post my script when I get home.

Yeah I don't think I "need" it per se. Just something I see mentioned here and there and something I thought I might want to mess around with.

That seems way more "sketch" than anything. It basically will fire off certain commands (everything from flasks to closing the program (HC players) to making portalling easier.

True. And when I find those trading bots, I make note of them and will always come back to them even at a higher rate. They REALLY need to create an in-game trade for currency and other commodities in the game.

I must be doing something wrong with this new atlas and the watchstones.
I've gotten to 8 watchstones, but now I just seem to be going nowhere. Should I be doubling up on watchstones in alters now?

The lack of eyeballs dropping is ridiculous. There should at least be a recipe - like 10 brains or 1 of each of the other organs will make eyeballs

Decided to play 1 map before I left for work this morning - T12 Metamorph dropped an exalt and eyes.
Rest of my day has sucked since.

Is anyone dying? A lot? Is this league harder than previous leagues or does my build just suck?
I get dying from Metamorphs as those can just be crazy overpowered, but I'm getting one-shotted with mobs in higher tier maps (14+)
I have 4,400 life. 1,400 mana (MoM). My resists are all capped (85+)
I can't figure out what my problem is.

A few things are going on. They buffed the life on bosses. The awakening levels on the atlas increase the percentage of the modifiers on maps which makes them harder. Finally, metamorphs hit hard in general.

If metamorphs are you primary issue then you spawn them and then run back a ways. There is a window where they can be attacked by ranged but they don't attack the player. Also, I think you need to spend some currency and get more life. 4.4 and MoM is still pretty low.

Yeah I'm learning to take things slower too. It's hard to go from ripping through maps to having to play hide and seek on end bosses and MMs. I just plant the totems and hide now and toss a flammability curse around the corner. It's gotten better. I still will end up flamedashing in the map into a mob and just getting smashed. That's my fault though.

I don't see too much other life I can add to gear at this point. I could "finalize" an amulet and anoint it with Constitution. I'm not sure how the ratio of life to mana is supposed to be for MoM though.

First thing I would change is your shield. It has no life at all. Set up a filter and grab a shield with +1 totem/80+ life/something else for like 50-60c. I'm seeing helmets with better life, double resists and the same enchant for around 50-60c. Your boots have a lot of room for improvement as well. You could double the life and get a bunch of resists then do lab for your enchant. If you change those three things then you should be up around 4800 to 4900 life.

What's the magical number for resits? Isn't it like 114% or something? To be able to overcome elemental weakness maps/curses?

117% at awaken level 8 from elemental weakness. Most people just use a flask that has the of Warding suffix.

Real Life and declining interest has greatly interfered with my POE playing time this league. Just got to maps. Maybe a stupid question, but where is Zana and how to I get her daily missions/refreshed sale inventory? It's a bit frustrating how you have to relearn basic aspects of the game over and over. I have Officer Kirac and the map device in my hideout, but three calendar days have passed without his inventory changing or zana mission being offered.

You have to do a Zana mission to refresh it and refresh her store. Do you have any whites or even yellows to do?

Talk about bullshit - just got to the Sirus fight. What kind of pile of crap is this? It's a horrible design. and googling tells me I'm not alone in this train of thought.
I will never beat that boss.

I don't think they've unlocked Zana at all yet. You just have to run maps. Eventually, she'll spawn in one and tell you what an idiot you are, kicking off the continuation of the epilogue questline. Work towards the corners of the Atlas if you can, since you'll need to head that way for the next part. Honestly, it's not a bad idea to look up ZiggyD's video explaining how things work at the start. There's a fair amount of non-intuitive aspects to it, and his was the clearest explanation I found.

I know the game is free to play and all and for that I shouldn't complain too much, but it does seem crazy that GGG drops massive new content and then leaves for holiday for 2 weeks.

The league that comes out in December always has this problem. I'm just not sure why they chose to release such large content in this particular period. It should either be the one before or after it.

In regards to the atlas, I think once people get use to it the average player person will like it. It offsets the largest complaint which was difficulty sustaining maps at high tiers. That's no longer a problem with the new system. But what it did for the more experienced player is that it pushed out how long it takes to get to end game, pushed up the prices on end game gear from shaper/elder/ue and added more rng to progress through the last boss. In the old system, once you pushed through UE you could easily repeat the process very quickly over and over again. It just cost currency to do so. Now they're is another rng layer attached in getting the conquerors to spawn.
