Playing last night ~10pm and had my first exalt drop. Went to bed.
Couldn't sleep this morning and woke up around ~4am so I figured I'd play a little. Got another exalt to drop.
2 exalts in less ~6 hours of real time. Had to be no more than 4 maps too.
I should have played the lottery instead.

Funny thing is the first was a red map - maybe T12?
2nd one was a T10 but triple sextant on it.

The mechanics are pretty deep, but they are reasonable. The best thing about PoE is that it actually has a diverse end-game. They are the only APRG to ever figure that out.

I really hate the concept of seasons. It trivializes all your achievements and everything you accomplished. You gotta grind all over again, just to get to the same level where you were in before season end.

Once you understand and get good at the game you can do everything the game has to offer in less than 4 weeks. I ran every single map, 36/40 challenges, every end game boss, all breaches done by 4 weeks in the league. The challenges, new league mechanic, free mtx are the only things keeping people coming back. The fresh economy makes grinding no where near as daunting as it is in standard.

I use to share your ideas and only played standard. But as I got better at the game I tried league and realized how much better it was. Now I never play standard and just give my stuff away. I'll end up giving away over 30ex this league.

It can be really frustrating if you don't have a lot of time to put into the game. But if you can put in a few hours a day then seasons are really perfect. I generally play really hard the first night till I hit maps, then map like crazy the first week. Then after that I pick some goals and do them, but Ill put in 30 hours the first weekend and then 3-5 a day after that till I get bored. If you can only do an hour or two a day I feel your pain.

I started this league way too late (last week), but I'm finally at maps now (trying to finish all my T8-10 right now).

I started playing PoE in Essence (Tornado Shot) and Breech (Totems) but stopped playing after that since I didn't have time. Too bad I missed Legacy which seemed like a lot of fun.

They've changed all the maps around and there seem to lots of new ones, but maybe I've just forgotten. I've been buying maps to finish out my atlas upto T10. After that I'll need to somehow upgrade my gear but everything is so expensive on poe.trade. I thought stuff might be cheaper since league is close to over but nope lol. But maybe I shouldn't have went with Windripper raider lol, seems like a popular build so everything for it is so expensive.

Question, but does the league stuff get transferred to standard? I don't play much so only started the league this weekend but realized whats the point when it ends so soon. I borrowed from the guild bank and put it back in and went to standard but not sure if that has some of the same fun stuff or if its just vanilla. It was my first login there in... possibly forever, but it was funny seeing all 'remove only' tabs in my bank with 5-6 leagues worth of stuff.

What's a good split arrow build, not finding any, seems like its all tornado or whatever. I tried to build based on the poe builder but realized I suck at it, I had high dps and 0 survivability, might as well stick to the proven builds.

It does get transferred to standard. Standard has everything except the league mechanic which would be the Abyss mobs and depths. It has the new expansion with the Elder.

ok, someone explain act5 Kitava to me because I have no idea wtf is going. For this attempt I had 10k+ dps, level 60, didn't even have to heal myself and I still couldn't beat him, I hit him hard and fast but then the purity thing shoots him and he goes away within 4-5 seconds... how the hell am I supposed to kill him??
