I will try that when I get home. I sure hope that is the case.
Yeah it's some combination combination of [(shift, ctrl, alt) + (left click, right click)]

Yes. It is much more Diablo 2 than Diablo 3. The main problem I had when I played the beta a good while ago was it was very unpolished. It would have been great in 2001, but in 2013, it was just not very good. They have come a long way since then. It is meant to be dark, and have that old school dungeon crawler feel. There still are some things I feel they could have greatly improved upon (the animations aren't great), but overall, it is a solid game if you go in expecting a diablo clone.
I big gripe I have is they let you use stats gained from gear to help with requirements and don't really warn you about this. My ranger had a couple pieces of gear I was using that when I changed necklaces I was nowhere near close to being able to use. (I was getting +32 int from the necklace). I, luckily, could get a +30 int node and only needed one level to drop the necklace, but it was a bit annoying having to go and possibly replan my next several levels.
I figured this would be pretty common knowledge for those that play these type of games. Gem requires 15 dex and I have 5 and my equipment gives me 11? I now have 16, so I can use it! No offense, but duh?
It just gets annoying because I didn't realize so much of my int was coming from an item I picked up 25 levels ago. I had 14 int without the necklace and 46 afterwards (or something like that). And for hours I had been leveling up gems that required int that high. Take the necklace off and half my gear goes useless.
I understand they allow it, I just wish they had shown it on my character sheet. A simple 14 + 32 or whatever would be fine. Had that information been available to me, I might have leveled up that stat much earlier.
How similar is this to Diablo? I feel like I have played that game a dozen times with different names, but I keep getting suckered into it.
Also, the skill tree--the video I watched brought back horrible memories of the ability wheel or whatever in Final Fantasy X--is this one limited to how many points you can spend? Can you re-spec?
...I realize these are rather dumb questions for a free game, I might as well try it out myself...but my shit Comcast connection means that any download eats up my bandwidth for about 12 hours minimum. Nothing is free!
HA! I respect you Zin, how about I DL and burn it to a DVD for you on my Fios connection.

I feel kinda odd playing this game and it's all free. I feel like I'm taking advantage of them. I need to go look and see if they have paypal so I can at least throw $5 their way.
You forgot to add "but I still buy all dem Steam games from Lord Gaben, despite the DRM functioning worse than what MS was trying to sell me."

What is the thing with those different "leagues" I browsed the forum an noticed there were several different types posted but didn't dig yet into what it meant.
I don't think you can pay for more inventory, it says its just for SHARED inventory between characters.
increase your inventory stash size
he says stash
