I didn't realize he was 57yo. That means he was about 39yo when he was in Point Break. He looked good for that age. I wouldn't of guessed he was over 30 at the time. Cool dude.

RIP.

Cancer is a nasty disease and, in all likelihood will never fully be cured because of its very nature. To say, though, that chemo is worthless is blindly ignorant. Yes, it sucks, but there are many forms of cancer that, when caught early enough, are completely treatable thanks to chemo. There are literally millions of people who can thank chemotherapy and the good and bad parts of it for their lives back.
Yes, it sucks and I don't wish it on anyone, but do you have any better solutions to treating cancer?
As for Swayze, I'm sad to see him go. It sucked that the media kept jumping the gun and proclaiming him dead. I wish they would have just left him alone.
I'm not going to fatten up the coffers of the medical community with a poor chance of surviving.
My wife has a family member that is a PA. She told me an inside joke in the medical community that goes something like; Why do they screw down the tops of caskets? To keep Oncologists from administering one last dose of Chemo.

I agree, very under rated IMO, wish it was on TV more unlike "Dirty Dancing" (very overrated IMO) which is always on. RIP PS, you were a fine entertainer indeed..
I ignored your first comment after my reply to Aztech and now you've involved yourself in my reply to BeauJangles. This time you've felt the need to jump on my shit - you've already gotten personal. I told BeauJangles his interpretation of my post was incorrect and I'm telling you the same now. My advice to you is to leave it be and walk away. I'm going to turn the other cheek for a second time.Originally posted by: zinfamous

this comment reflects a paranoid idiocy that the medical industry is out to bilk billions out of sick, mostly terminal people for no good reason...and that they relish in torture.
It's absolutely deluded and ridiculous, and this being a particularly heated time...well you only hear this kind of BS coming from the minds of the brain-dead fringe righties, so I'm going to take instant offense. ...no offense, mind you.
plus, I'm not going to go personal with this--b/c it's very personal with me right now, I assure you.
