Hey,
These two sets of RAM are on sale and I'm not sure which is the better set:
Patriot PDC24G6400LLK 2x2GB $99.99 with no Rebates
http://shop3.outpost.com/product/5447899
Found this favourable review: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2190
Official Product Page
http://www.patriotmemory.com/p...oupid=38&id=658&type=1
Possibly similar to the PDC22G6400+LLK listed here http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/ as
Elpida AG-6E-E
Micron D9GMH (B6-3)
Micron D9DQW (BT-37E)
Micron D9DQT (BT-3)
Specs:
PC26400 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2V
Mushkin HP2-6400 2x2GB 996587 $92.99 After $40 MIR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820146731
Official Product Page
http://www.mushkin.com/doc/pro...mory_detail.asp?id=643
Specs:
PC26400 5-4-4-12 @ 1.8V
------
Now my confusion comes in, that although the Patriot has tighter timings it needs a higher vdimm (2.2V) while the Mushkin has slightly looser timings at a lower vdimm (1.8V).
Does anyone have any insight / experience with these two sets of RAM? Do I need to consider anything else about the RAM (such as reliability of Customer Service at Mushkin vs Patriot, etc?). Am I missing something obvious here?
Thanks,
RS
