Why? They just put on the best performance of the year.

Yea, but its all for naught when you lose.

Rex Ryan, himself, BLEW that game. The timeout alone was enough, but that's not all. You're stopping them all day by applying pressure to Brady. So they get the ball with 3:30 remaining, and timeouts, so what do you do? Drop eight men into coverage! Only rush 3! Its not like the Patriots have the best offensive line in the game, a disturbingly good set of WRs, and a dashingly handson QB known for last minute winning drives. Just drop em back, brilliant!

Pitiful display of coaching. My ass has coached better defensive football, and my ass coaches about as well as a head coach combination of Rich Kotite's late years and Dave Campo.

No NFL game is a gimme. If anything, the last two weeks should've shown that.

if i got a million chances to throw a TD pass I think I might get one too.

I wonder where you got that number . . . . Hate all you want but don't make yourself sound like an idiot. The fact of the matter is you'd be all over Brady's jock strap if he was playing for your team.

Exactly, especially after making these last two QB's look like all pros. Any Given Sunday...

The Eagles and the Ravens showed me that when you get to Brady you have good chance of throwing the NE offense off-track. The Giants have an excellent passrush and lead the league in sacks. Maybe, just maybe...?

Pssst....the Jets played Miami. I could probably score 21 points on my own playing Miami.

So you're better than the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Ravens D played the best they could and that's what made this game the way it was. I give a lot of props to them. Coaching was what could have changed the outcome of the game. Whose boneheaded decision was it to have Boller throw a long pass that was picked off near the Pats endzone? The Ravens were already up by one touchdown and within field goal range. Why one wouldn't stay with the running game, run out the clock, and put up a field goal to make it a sure fire two possession lead, is beyond me.

And it's not like they don't have the infrastructure to be great teams, they just lacked the hearts. And when it comes to playing the Pats, suddenly EVERYBODY has heart.

lol, again with the hearts and minds, talent and execution are more important than emotion. They both suck, their records are pretty clear.

Dude, it's something you'll never understand, so I'll stop arguing with you about it. Deal?

I understand it completely, have witnessed it many times in many sports over the past 30 years. That does not mean it trumps talent and execution, emotion is almost impossible to maintain over a full game. The only person you are arguing with is you, keep trying to convince yourself you are the only one in the world who understands what the term "hearts and minds of a champion" means.

You claim the Beagles and the Ravens have the infrastructure to be great teams, but lack heart. The heart of the Ravens is Ray Lewis, he won a championship BTW. So why is their record 4-8 when they have their "heart of a champion" still leading the way. Neither of those teams have the talent to be great, nor have they executed as a great team would. Their records clearly support that position.

I was exaggerating. I can't really score on an NFL team on my own.

I seriously laugh every time you post. You can't be this stupid, but then again you're a Pats fan. This is the 2nd game in a row that the Pats defense has looked horrible against a mediocre offense. McGahee just dumped 138 yards on your overrated team, and the 4-8 Ravens posted their 3rd highest point total of the season. You can't seriously be happy after this win.

You have to be an absolute mental midget to talk shit after beating a 4-7 team, especially knowing you won the game because of a defensive timeout and a phantom holding call.

Hmmm Eagles and Ravens keep it close... Almost win the game...

Maybe the trick is that your team name has to be a bird... Or have wings, to keep it close? And also to start a QB that wasnt your starter on day 1?

If that holds true, then the.... JETS... are the only remaining team that have a shot!!!!! Im gonna bet the house!

PaulNEPats and anyone else in our FFB league.. I think I snuck into the #8 spot by 1.16 points over Jap Plays!!!! If I didnt get the NE INT, or if Gostkowski hit one more FG, I would have been out!

Those are my calculcations, and I could be wrong, but I think I am in!

I think the key is pressure. The Ravens should've kept the pressure up instead of falling back into zone on that last series. Steelers have a shot...maybe even the Giants, too. MAYBE

Somebody call the Wahhhhmbulance! The Pats are going to have extremely tough games throughout the remainder of the season. EVERYONE is gunning for them. This was the Ravens super bowl. That's part of the reason it's so difficult as the season progresses to remain undefeated. All these teams are going to bring their A games. So yes, I am proud that they pulled this out against a jacked team in front of a hostile crowd.

If the key is pressure than the Giants have a chance. They bring pressure better than anyone else in the league. They lead the league in sacks.

Seems like the Patriots are charmed a bit, but the Ravens didn't have to call time out (on 4th down) or hold a receiver the entire 15 yards from scrimmage to endzone (on 4th down), so the Pats won it fair and square.

Thanx to the Ravens for at least making this a very entertaining game.

Can't count that game. Played in a monsoon, ridiculous conditions.
