You missed a hell of a thread.

lol, I would have rather been at that game, the thread is still here to read.

Please have your sarcasm meter checked for inaccuracy

hahahahah

This is ATOT, impossible to keep it calibrated.

It doesn't matter, the timeout was called well before the snap from the side angle and who knows how many players stopped before the play.

Also I'm not basing that on Brady's cocky remark after the game.

That's the problem, what you think of others and reality don't concur. A normal person would accept their assumptive mistake and move on, instead, you cling to yours. Meds won't help btw, you will need analysis to correct your personality disorder. I wish you the best of luck in finding that help, the sooner the better.

Yea, I know... So many things happened this game that had to happen to allow the Pats to win, its like it was destiny. All the stars and planets had to align, and they did. Still, the Pats did what they had to do to win.

Reminds me of the 1996 Yankees. Balls bounced their way, calls went their way, etc. What a great season that was...

Lets hope the Steelers can give them just as good of a game next week.

Man I just saw the highlights on NFL Primetime. If they didn't lose tonight when they played that badly, I dunno if they'll lose at all.

Thats what I was thinking too. They had every oppurtunity to lose and they still didn't.

I don't have the time or energy or devotion at all in my life to prove to some idiot on an internet forums that he's wrong. Unlike you, I can let something go and know when enough is enough. You, should get a life. This will be my last direct correspondence to you. Recognize and don't ever confuse the differences between "I don't give a hoot about you to prove you wrong" to "oh, I'm right!!111!!!".

You can't prove me wrong, but I have done that to you over this same exact argument once already. Would you like the links again proving I have been supportive of NE and their fans all season? It will only get easier everytime you try to hoist that untennable arguement.

You should let it go, instead you jump on me every chance you get with the same worn out, incorrect, arguement that I hate the Pats. Maybe you should get a life.
It's too bad a certain poster on ATOT has now caused me to cringe every time I see that word. Note to self: there are no bad words, there are no bad words,...........

Yea, but its all for naught when you lose.

Rex Ryan, himself, BLEW that game. The timeout alone was enough, but that's not all. You're stopping them all day by applying pressure to Brady. So they get the ball with 3:30 remaining, and timeouts, so what do you do? Drop eight men into coverage! Only rush 3! Its not like the Patriots have the best offensive line in the game, a disturbingly good set of WRs, and a dashingly handson QB known for last minute winning drives. Just drop em back, brilliant!

Pitiful display of coaching. My ass has coached better defensive football, and my ass coaches about as well as a head coach combination of Rich Kotite's late years and Dave Campo.

That's what I couldn't understand. They had the right formula to beat the Pats - keep pressure on Brady. Then they just rushed 3 and Brady sat back in the pocket with all the time in the world to look for the open receiver. Like we haven't seen all season that if you give Brady a little time he'll kill you.

seems to me from the highlights i saw that they were still stopping brady, even when they were only rushing 3. the holding penalty killed them, too. that had nothing to do w/ ryan's coaching.

Karma really...the Ravens had a SB Championship (XXXV) handed to them on a phantom holding call...
Turnabout is fair play I guess.

I still hate the Pats

Well, I don't know what the highlights showed, but I was watching the game and they weren't stopping Brady with the 3 man rush. He had all day to look for the open receiver. The funny thing is, during that series they did rush 4 once and that was about the only time they pressured him into an early throw, which fell incomplete. The Ravens defensive coach went completely away from the defensive scheme that had been working for them all night.

Still trolling Alistar7? Maybe you should just take your trash talking to PM? Everywhere I turn you are crapping in threads.

That being said, what a sad game. Much respect for the Ravens defense (penalties aside), I don't look forward to them coming to Seattle.
However, the bit where he threw the flag in the stands was awesome.

"How many refs did B. Belicheck blow to win this game??" - my friend, a Ravens fan

Hahaha although the penalties were getting crazy at the end, I want to see the Pats go through an undefeated season (just so I can witness it) or at least lose to my favorite team, the Colts.

I only watched the 4Q, but agree with you. At the end, Ravens went into nickel/dime and it didn't work. Why not continue to pressure the QB and maybe knock him around? The offence will probably complete that play anyway, but the QB might not be as effective in the following plays.

Dolphins are gonna get their first win of the season by handing the Pats their first loss. You heard it here first!

Or

My NY Giants are gonna cap off another bad 2nd half of season with a win on the Pats

No ...and no.

I think the Patriots are gonna DESTROY the Dolphins to make Don Shula feel like a real tool. (Even though he was in the booth last night retracting his asterisk statement and saying good things about the Pats)

And the Giants...the way Eli is playing...thanks for the laugh.

Colts hand Pats their first loss in the playoffs is my prediction (if any loss at all occurs - it will be in this game)

The way the NE defense has been playing the last couple of games, even Eli can put up points against them. And if pressure is the key to keeping Brady out of the endzone, well the Giants bring pressure better than anyone.

I'm not surprised at Ravens fans blaming the refs, saying the league wants the Pats* to win, etc. What I am surprised about is the actual Ravens players that have the same attitude. They really think the refs robbed them of this game? How about Ed Reed coughing up his INT return on the Pats* 30? What about the stupid timeout call? Or maybe the incredibly dumb throwing of the yellow flag? Or Boller's Feeley-esque INT? The defensive holding penalty was MAYBE suspect, but at the same time those calls happen in every game. If the Ravens had avoided even one of those stupid mistakes, they probably would've won.

I don't like the Patriots*, obviously, but I don't think them winning last night was a result of some NFL decree to the refs to not let them lose. Personally I hope the Pats* do go 16-0, then get bounced out of the playoffs in the divisional round.
