Ok, we get it, are you done now?

When do you turn 5, little boy?

Oh, you're not turning 5? You sure act like it.

I didnt start this mess.

Still trolling Alistar7? Maybe you should just take your trash talking to PM? Everywhere I turn you are crapping in threads.

^ He must have forgotten that post, which was immediately followed by yet another harassing PM. You hit the nail squarely on the head shocksyde. He is just trying to provoke me, he even fails as a troll lol.

You should lock yourselves in a closet for a while so we don't have to see your posts.

Pfft, everyone tapes and looks for every advantage possible, IMHO short of snagging an opposing teams' playbook none of it helps nearly as much as watching game film. JJ stopped taping while in Dallas because he found it offered so little assistance it was not even worthwhile. Execution beats knowledge. When the Ravens were running effectively last night NE knew it was coming, but could not stop it from happening.

Starting to see some of what I mentioned earlier in the season about their defensive shortcomings. I questioned the speed of the linebacking corps, and their ability to maintain over the long season due to their age. NE had to play a lot of 4-3 last night due to the problems the are having at LB. They did sign Chad Brown recently, and I would expect him to be suited up next week and contribute down the stretch.

Next week should be a good game, next to the Colts this should be the most balanced team NE has faced when considering both sides of the ball. More physical, better run game, and greater overall defensive speed in the back 8. Pitt will of course use a 3-4 alignment, which the Beagles and Ravens were able to utilize in generating pressure and disrupting the passing game. At times you will see them use a 2-4-5. At the beginning of the season there was talk of a "new wrinkle" in their zone blitz scheme, it has not been used yet AFAIK. If they have been saving anything, it should come out in this game.

NE should be able to exploit Pitts injuries in the secondary, special teams coverage, and shaky pass protection. They did a good job protecting Ben against Cinci this week, but I will not believe they have fixed this two year problem in one game.

This will be the only game I will actively root against NE this season, and only because they are playing my beloved Steelers. If NE wins I would like to see NE run the table for the "perfect" season. I think it would be great for the NFL for any team to go undefeated, and unlike most here (it seems) I have no problems with the Pats being that team.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/intel?gameId=271209017

I can't believe you wrote all of that in response to a bunch of BS that I wrote.

What a tool.

I'm done with you buck but I will ask you politely one more time to please stop trolling/harassing me, thanks.

What is in bold was the response to what you wrote Odin, not the entire post. The rest was just my take on the upcoming game and it seemed to make more sense to include it rather than making an additional post. Sorry for adding a (non NE fan) opinion that echoed your sarcastic comment about the cheating being blown out of proportion. Thanks for the compliment though, classy.

Next time read the whole post BrokenVisage, if you had you would have realized I am not a Pats fan. Pretty clear I am a Pitt fan, you don't have to be a NE fan to disagree with all the whining about their "cheating". I still think the biggest advantage is gained by studying game film, and any other little BS most/all teams do is insignificant by comparision. Execution and talent still trump anything IMHO, and that can't be cheated.

Jimmy Johnson flat out admitted he did it in Dallas, yet I don't hear anyone suggesting they strip those teams of their titles or place an asterik on their record. It's petty, commonplace, and the only reason it has maintained these legs is those looking for any reason to bash on NE.

You obviously failed to understand my entire post.

Well what do you expect from a tool Odin? lol

Think positive Deeko, Dallas can trade their 1st rounder and the Browns to move up if they want.

Man I wish I would have looked back in here sooner than now. I think I posted on page two last when I originally posted in here.

Edit: Man I was way off. Page 7.

Anyway, after reading some of the posts, it's time for a rant.

I'm sick of this asterisk bullshit. In all sports. It's not cool just because every time you write out a team or player you put an asterisk at the end of it. You're not clever, funny, or original. You're just a trendy little fuck. And despite the common logic of most people in middle and high school, I thought that by college and beyond people realized that trendy DOES NOT equal cool. I guess not though. But back to the asterisk issue. In the many volumes of histories of sports I'm sure there are plenty of times where a player or team has broken records and there have been reason to question the validity of it. This isn't the first time something has happened and people were all "omgwtfbbq" about it.

So stop using your effing asterisks just because you think it's cool. It's annoying, and it makes it look as if a 12 year old is trying to discuss a sport and rather than show substance can only show style in their arguments.

I can see where you're getting at.

20 years from now we'll see in a music mag: "Michael Jackson was the greatest pop singer of all time **who also molested small children"

It's not needed. Why bring debate into history?

It's like saying Paul Revere was crossing the country side screaming "The British Are Coming". Yeah, now you run across Iraq by yourself screaming, "The Al-Qada are coming". There were British patrols everywhere and good ol Paul would of been shot dead before he ever made it Concord.

People will believe what they want to believe is my point.

Oh man...don't get me started. People are going nuts on the Cowboys boards. They want Darren McFadden in the worst way. For some reason, they insist Julius Jones MUST not be resigned, and getting a similar compliment to Barber isn't good enough....they think that Jerry Jones will do "whatever it takes" to get McFadden, ignoring the fact that Dallas hasn't drafted an offensive player in the 1st round since David LaFleur in 1997. They also ignore that the team has other needs that need to be addressed way before HB, like WR, CB, FS, and LT. Nevermind all that, lets mortgage everything for D-Mac!

I keep trying to tell them it will take both of this year's 1sts, next year's 1st, and a few more picks or a top-notch player to get high enough to draft him (top 5), but they ignore me and every day there's a new thread on how they can't wait for McFadden.

Ugh...drives me nuts. I tell ya, Dallas fans can be just as stupid as Eagles fans sometimes.....
