Brady > *

Even if the Chargers had Jesus playing for them, it wouldn't help.

if you're serious, it looks like you've made a bunch of money

I was dead serious! SCOREEEEEEE! Plus, I'm from Boston so it's a root/root situation for Pats anyway

I don't even have $5,000. I hate you.

Chargers pretty much lost that. They have no one to blame but themselves and stupid mistakes.

It looked like somebody was holding him back from Troy Brown, but they didn't show enough of it in time to see who started it...

LT doesn't seem like the type to start anything though, while quite a few of the Pats have acted like complete blowhards in the past to the losing team's players in the playoffs before.

LT is having a press conference, and blaming the Pats for it all, saying how they have no class and it may be the coach's fault--and how he wasn't going to just sit there watching it.

So much for class..

Talk about a sore loser.

Man I'm gonna have to find a cap of that later.

I thought LT was just going off the field not wanting to talk to anyone and the Pats players literally blocked him off....NO??

The dropped balls were bad, but the fact that so many passing plays were called for is the root of the problem ... The Pats couldn't contain SD's running game & were getting worn down... IMO they were on the verge of folding & for some reason SD started throwing the ball & making bonehead plays.

They have themselves to blame for being unable to put the game away, but what mattered are a few key plays where the patriots came up big.

Re: the LT blow-up, I don't really hold it against him, maybe someone did something he didn't like, but regardless it sucks to get shown up on your home turf.

He sounded like he didn't appreciate the Pats guys imitating Shawne Merriman in the center of the field, and voiced his opinion to them..

Honestly, if you had watched the game, you'd know it wasn't Brady who won it for the Patriots.

It was the Chargers who lost it. I don't think I have seen more mistakes in a professional football game, and I am a Panthers fan.

True, but he wasn't exactly acting like a professional during the game ... plus in fairness I'll bet he realizes that he could have likely won the game for SD if they bothered to give him the ball in the 4th quarter.

You can say whatever you want about Brady & the Pats, but they managed to stay just close enough to take advantage of the SD mistakes & snatch this game out of the fire.

I watched every play & am a Giants fan btw, so I know the difference between doing just enough to win & doing just enough to lose!

When the Chargers gave up that easy TD to the Pats at the end of the half I felt that if that's the way they were going to play, by letting the Pats hang within a score, then the game would most likely end up going to the Pats in the 4th. Good game though. I wanted the Chargers to win because I hate the Pats, but at the same time, I'm glad it's the Pats playing at Indy next week rather than Indy traveling to SD. Hopefully the Colts D will show up again one more time.

Also, this has been a strange playoffs, at least in the AFC. All these great QB's having subpar games. The various defenses are really playing well and giving the QB's fits.

From ESPN,

"I would never react in that way. I was very upset," Tomlinson said. "When you go to the middle of our field and start doing the dance Shawne Merriman is known for, that is disrespectful. They showed no class and maybe that comes from the head coach."

Merriman did a spasmodic dance to celebrate each of his NFL-high 17 sacks.

"We lost to a better team today," Tomlinson said. "Hopefully the next opportunity we have we'll learn something from this."

Experience counts here as Troy Brown was smart enough to see the interceptor of
Brady's pass DID NOT secure the ball, hence the easy strip. Also although Brady had a so-
so game the one big play for 49 yds set up the win. Really SD's D played well but those
turnovers and stupid penalties made their effort in vain....
