I'm not a gambler...so how does this over under stuff work anyways? Can anyone provide me with an explanation for non-gamblers? How does over/under differ from just covering the spread?Originally posted by: Millennium
I don't care either way. I need them to beat the Over(48) so far not looking good. I knew I should have hit the under.
Dammit.
If you don't mind my asking, where do you bet? Do you do it locally through usual channels or do you do it online? Is this a PM question??Originally posted by: Millennium
If you bet Over(the points for the game is 48) then the total of both teams has to pass 48. If you bet Under then the total has to be less than 48. Over/Under is a very easy bet to make, yet I screwed the pooch this week. First time I have bet on NFL. I just started betting 3 weeks ago with 80 dollars on 4 different college games. After last night I was at 495.64 dollars. Pretty good profit for just three weeks.

I've still got NE +5.5 and feel fairly decent about it.
