The Porsche being reported is basically a street legal race car. I have been in one.
he wasn't driving (reportedly)But it sounds like he was pushing his skill level a wee bit...RIP, guy. You were actually slowly getting decent at the whole 'acting' thing.
I'm guessing it was a GT3 or something?
I'd have to imagine that with all the F&F movies, he does have a lot of real experience/training behind the wheel. I'm sure they used stunt drivers for 99% of any actual sketchy maneuvering, but I just can't see him doing all those movies with high levels of 'real' in-car footage without some insurance that he could handle himself decently.

I have read just a GT, but saying its new, cant be true, they do not make them any longer. They could mean new to him if the car they are talking about is the one I have been in.
He apparently owned multiple Porsches, including at least one GT3 and at least one GT2.
it was confirmed on his official facebook and twitter so it's looking pretty real at this point.Unless of course this is a hoax, in which case it was pretty effective.
Up on front page Yahoo now.
SAD.
RIP
