usually what i do is err on the high side of what my digital scale says.
if it shows 1lb 3oz, i'll enter 1lb 4oz on the website.
but i'm wondering if they really check, and re-weigh everything to make sure you've been honest.
i guess it really only comes into play when the package is at the threshold of the next rate jump, like if your scale shows 1lb 15oz but they measure it to be 2lb.
has anyone ever had their package not sent due to something like this?
what if you're really dishonest and send a 5lb package, but only pay 1lb worth of postage?
