Paypal alt and get a prepaid refillable credit card in the process!!!

Netspend used to be strictly a refillable credit card company about a year ago. I just signed up again so I can get a CC and open a PP account. Well to my suprise they have changed since the year ago.

First:
The credit cards no longer expire after a year but three years now

Second and my favorite and making it my duty to switch everyone to netspend:
You can transfer money from your card to other netspend users just like paypal. But the great thing is it goes directly on a card that can be used almost anywhere and not just where paypal is used and online. AND the best part is it is FREE to send from one user to the other no matter the ammout!!! That means if you wanted to send a huge ammount through PP using your real cc you would get stuck with a huge fee as well. With netspend there is no fee and you can put the funds on the card from your bank account (if you have one) for free. BEAT THAT PAYPAL!!!!!

I am so excited that I got another card knowing that I can take PP again but this time add the funds to my card because I dont have a bank account to link Paypal to. (Im too broke and have bad credit to keep funds in it if they would let me open bank account ).

There is a fee to use the card and load it. Over where I load its $1 no matter haow much is added to it and $1 if I have to type in my pin or there is a option for $69 anually to get no fees at all other then to load the card. To me since my credit is not good and I have not a bank account this is perfect for me. And with the added features being able to add the PP funds right to my card AND the fact if everyone gets one you can transfer funds from one card holder to the next makes this card for me one I need to keep. Also I cant get in trouble with it because if the money is not in there I cant over spend. I am able to get all the benifits of having a credit card but no bill, impossable to get in trouble with it, if another person has it can transfer and request funds like Paypal but with out the fees, and didnt even check my credit.

Anyway everyone needs to get one and put PP in their place finnaly!!! And sorry for sounding like I work for the company Im just excited that there is someone else out there other then PP to transfer funds from one person to the other and the money with netspend is usable everywhere and not just online.

GET NETSPEND EVERYONE!!!!!!!! And if it matters I have the all acess netspend mastercard with a very nice Chicago Skyline on it so they are not generic looking

And this is how you transfer funds from one user to the next. Making it impossable to use a stolen netspend card and transfering money to you unlike with ebay.

If you can find a cc company or bank that will give a cc with less fees, no credit check, Request funds from other card members like Paypal, a lower annual fee then $69 (if you opt for the annual fee), can transefer the money from your PP account to your card, will not charge you intrest on your own money, will let you transfer money from one card holder (like paypal) to the next for FREE no matter the ammount, let you transfer money from your bank account to your card for FREE no matter the ammount, check your statement online or have it sent to your cell phone, lets you link your card to your pp account as a checking account making you verified, a referal program so if your friend signs up you get $5 and they get $2, and because you dont have good credit still use it as a credit card anywhere master card or visa logo is PLEASE link it! Now when you get all of the above $20 for a card good for 3 years and the annual fee doesnt look all that bad does it when your a poor person with bad credit and no real bank account?

Yes that is what I am saying. You can add the credit card to your PP account as a Checking account and take the funds from your pp accont and put it onto the cc

I have used them and I am again. They have been around for atleast 3 years that I know of. You can either pay the $69 for one year of absolutly no transaction fees or pay $1 per transaction.

Just get Paypal's debit card. It's a Master Card that can be used anyplace that takes MC. They also rebate 1% back on everything you use the card on.

BUT with netspend you can transfer funda from one member to the other so if you and the other party has the card you dont have to worry about stupid PP fees

Lets see paypal do that!!!!!!!

So if you have a cc pp and want to send $1000 why take the PP hit when you can send the from your bank account, to the card, and for free send the $1000 to the other party without either one of you taking a hit. Indespensable people just for that fact!

Sounds good, but can (evil) PayPal do something to prevent this loss of revenue?

One negative is that the money is still tied up, albeit in a CC. Not a true alternative to PP, but still good!

Id say no because you can link your netspend account to PP. As far as your money being stuck on your cc not true either. When you sign up for the CC you also right away get a atm card to use at any atm machine so if you need to get cash out it can be had anywhere as well.

The card is good because:
Its a true Mastercard
Can have PP funds transfered right to it as if it was a checking account
The card is not attached to your bank account so if it is lost or stolen you dont need to worry that they can empty your bank account.
Whats on the card is all you can spend
If you have crappy credit you can now get a credit card and the benifits of having one to use as such.
Parents can get one for their kids and limit the spending and see where the money goes.
And best of all you can transfer funds from one Netspend card member to another free of charge no matter the ammout sent.

And yes PP may be free for you but for alot of other people especially thoes wanting to send a large ammount may not want to take such a big hit on their money.

I have used paypal for 3 years now, and they've been nothing but bastardly to me. They screw me over for nothing and hold my money over nothing, even with all the businness I give them. It has gotten to the point that they have thoroughly digusted me. Thanks op. Will look at this.

I use paypal to receive money all the time... just as long as it's not from a credit card, it's free.

A friend of mine even sold his truck and used paypal to receive the money, for free.

Not sure what everyone else's problems are

If you only receive, then, ya, but if you also send, like 95% of us, then you'll need to upgrade to a premier account.

how bout some facts: this is NOT a "true Mastercard"

saying it is a true Mastercard implies that this is a credit card.....by definition you use the card and they extend credit to you and you pay off at the end of the term (or month).

This card is the functional equivalent of a debit card. It is a PREPAID card. You must have the money in the card account ahead of time -- That is not a Credit card -- certainly not a "true Mastercard" in any sense different than a common Mastercard or VISA branded debit card.

Notably, Netspend itself does not call this a "credit card".

I both send and receive with paypal, and it's free both ways, so long as you have your bank account registered with paypal. And it's instant if you have a credit card also registered with paypal.

When I had PP years ago didnt matter if the funds came from a cc or a bank I still took a hit on all money I took it.
Stick with PP I dont care.

BTW if you looked at my title it does say "refillable credit card." It was always there.

I have a paypal credit card which gives me back 1% of the money back on all transactions. I am pretty happy with it.

Dude .. . Google transfer money and debit card and you'll see there are thousand of alternatives out there to Paypal using a debit card. And in effect that's what this is....this is NOT a credit card. This is a prepaid card. I see no indication that you get interest on you funds like at least you do with many debit cards lintked to , for instance, online bank accounts.

For a $69 fee or a per transaction fee this ain't hot
