Paypal alternatives?

Well I recently noticed a THIRD fraudulent transaction from paypal in my bank account in the past 16 month. I'm sick of this crap. Are there any others out there that a lot of people use and is more secure? Propay? Does anyone actually use that?

I'm not following: Paypal itself is not inherently insecure and there is no way that a fraudulent transaction would hit your bank account without you having done that transaction in the first place. Unless someone has your password, I'm not sure what you're complaining about exactly.

What safety measures do you take? Not using IE would be a start, logout completely everytime, non-shared high-security password just for paypal, etc. Trojan & anti-virus scans daily/weekly. Never browse or click links for other websites you've never heard of - check the actual .com links on mouseover & in the address bar, https, etc.

You may not be limited to just paypal fraud - you probably just don' t know it... I think they're much safer than most other online services to be honest.

Those are the same suggestions as paypal's fraud department gives and I inherently follow all of them. I've always used Firefox, I never follow links to anything from email, and the only two computers I use (home and work) have daily scanning and updating of antivirus. I have never shared my passwords with anyone. I don't understand where this is coming from, and I'm not at fault.
