PC Game of the Year for 2007

what do you guys think is/will be the best pc game ( edit: game(s) ) of 2007?

so far in my opinion, gears of war is the best game so far and unreal tourny 3 i really believe might be the best game of 2007 once it comes out next week.

I assume the Orange Box doesn't count as 'one' game ??? I most assuredly give it the best buy of the year award !! Hmmmm, tough call on your question ... I'll be in the minority and vote for TF2.

I agree, COD4 single player by itself really reminded me of the "oomph" COD1 had a few years back.

There is not a poll... pretty useless without one. And there are still a few heavy hitters not yet out, such as UT3.

Crysis has my jaw on the floor though every level im about 1 level i think from the end. Simply amazing.

Stalker is still the best to me this year. Picking up Crysis soon, maybe it'll beat it... probably not.

Wonder how Bioshock will do. It was good, but was it memorable...

I think there'll be a lot of contenders... if the judges weigh more heavily on graphics/atmosphere... crysis. If theyre looking at ONLY gameplay, possibly portals. If they go on overall package i think bioshock, and MAYBE world in conflict are contenders.

Hard to say since I still got some new games to play, but so far my vote goes to "The Witcher" it really is a great game.

CoD4 is amazing. Gears of War really isn't that good, though. The novelty of the camera and the graphics wears off quickly and the gameplay is repetitive.

tough call, so many good games have come out. but my vote goes to:

CoD4

SP was very well done. harkened back to the glory days of 1&2 for sure. I played STALKER, Bioshock and OB and none of them kept my interest as much as CoD4 save for Portal but I don't count that as a complete game.

I haven't played any of the new games except for UT3 demo, but by the sounds of it, Crysis will probably take the top honors. UT3 will likely take top spot for MP.

I'll vote based off of what I own;

Crysis is definitely a huge contender. The Singleplayer is fantastic and the multiplayer is a really good time once you get over the learning curve. I think it will win simply because it has established itself (imo) as the benchmark from which all FPS's will be judged in terms of singleplayer immersion.

The OJ Box is great as well, but I don't think that Portal was long enough or memorable enough to make GOTY; it certainly was revolutionary in terms of game play, but seemed to get repetitive at the end. TF2 is fabulous, but doesn't have the depth for GOTY. I hear many good things about COD4 so I'm sure that it's up there in terms of taking home the trophy.

Hg:L [Single-Player] would be my 2nd choice for '07 for just the pure "fun" factor and the ability to play it SO many different ways - with my Summoner, i have a genuine "minion game" going on
- unfortunately the online aspect leaves a lot to be desired

For me it's COD4 and I LOVE Bioshock.

COD4 just completely blew me away.

Okay :!
Bioshock = overrated ! ending was crap and its appeal goes down the drain after 4hrs of gameplay
COD 4 = Again its COD crap , linear gameplay , same crappy moments , stupid AI
Crysis = Awesome graphic but stupid story written by stupid kid :!
Orange box = Good HL 2 episode 2 , portal is a great puzzle game , TF2 is a great Multiplayer game !! but i had issue with HL 2 as it added more mistery and didn't really slove anything
Hellgate london = i like the game alot but its has so many bugs that need to sloved
World in Conflict = decent rts but overrated
UT2007 = Same gameplay as UT2004 with better graphic and more modes
Quake War ET = Good game but i didn't like it for its crummy air combat / tank combat. as linear type capture point.
The Witcher = best PC RPG of this year and should get PC RPG of the year award
Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar = awesome TBS
Stalker = excellent game despite its bugs and not being friendly to noob

But knowing the idiots responsible to making list it will be :

Crysis
Bioshock
COD 4
