What is it with schools doing stupid shit these days? First it's that story I read about the school video taping students in their rooms at home with laptop webcams, and then watching it, then it's some dumbass school here in the south bay that sent home kids for wearing american flag t-shirts on cinco de mayo, and now this? You think they'd use some common sense, but something tells me that these schools do this shit on purpose because they want attention.

Why don't the parents rent a bus and drive the kids there if they love AZ so much?

They don't "love" AZ. They love their kids and want them to have a shot at something they earned that's being denied them for bogus reasons.

Hey if people don't have health care, why don't they drive to Mexico?

I understand that you believe citizens are subjects though, so your response is unsurprising. Only illegals should be protected.

Huh? Why should they? The kids raised the money and earned the trip. Now some idiot administrator decides to use their earned trip to make some political statement. That's not appropriate, and the administrators responsible should be fired, regardless of the merits of the law in AZ.

If the kids raised money, why don't they use that money to charter a bus? I don't see why the school needs to do it, it doesn't benefit the remainder of the student body.

OK, if they love their kids, and they already raised the money, why don't they just use that money to charter a bus?

because the checks were probably made payable to the school, so they control how it is spent...

Have to have a school sponsorship to enter.

Maybe not all kids have Arizona visas I didn't even get my travel passport till I was 18. The school is absolutely right to not risk their students getting arrested.

With the condition that the kids are going to the tournament. The school should be returning/canceling those checks right about now.

Why do you think these whacko school administrators have the right to make such an incredibly stupid decision without consulting with the parents first? Contrary to what you might think, I don't think "indoctrinate your students with your own political views" is in the job description of the superintendent.

Do your children a favor and don't have any.

Because the school board works for them and it has no legitimate reason other than it's fiction and as has been said to enter needs to go through the school.

I know you are a huge troll, and you really don't care if the government fucks your kids, but not everyone is a Government fundamentalist like you.

But since you want to lock up doctors who choose would rather violate a badly worded regulation than let them die we understand.

I'd hope his kids get stuck in a school with an ultra right-wing whacko who tries similar things (but favoring far right causes, obviously). I bet it suddenly wouldn't be OK with him then.

I live in SF bay area Ultra right-wing whackos are not electable to school board where I live.

This has what to do with health care? Oh wait, nothing. You are just trolling. Nice.

What if an AZ cop suspects one of the students and arrests them? Will they have their 'papers'
You think a stink is raised now, what I suggested could happen is very possible. And if an AZ citizen thinks one of the students is illegal and doesn't think a cop is doing their job, they can go after the cop.
It's a good idea, but a stupid, shitty law

I'm sure if one moved there tomorrow and became superintendent of the school where your kids would attend, you'd be OK if he instituted policies based on his own beliefs. Right?

That explains everything.

Sure hope so. Silicon Valley is what it is for a reason. Wouldn't be surprised if tech companies were reluctant to expand in AZ due to their new legal innovations. We have very diverse workforce with a lot of immigrants who don't cherish being harassed by police for immigration papers and getting arrested if they left house without their H1B

You don't just become superintendent of schools because you moved in to the area
We don't elect school boards who would hire a right wing whacko superintendent here.

Wow, you're a genius. If the rest of Californians are like you, no wonder the state is circling the drain.

Of COURSE you don't move there and become the superintendent the next day just because you moved there! You don't suppose someone from out of state could be hired and move there to take a superintendent position, now do you?

You won't answer the question because you know that if you tell the truth, it will show you as a hypocrite. We get that and your dancing and dodging confirms it.
