PC Magazine

Does anyone else feel like PC magazine is just a magazine full of ads? I mean, all i see is products listed on every page. ands its all cell phones, mp3 players, Gps gear, audio gear, etc. Where the hell is the PC stuff?

well, the thing is in the past couple of years, ive literally seen PC magazine get stuffed with more ads per page than articles per issue. seriously...maybe not enough revenue?

Just got mine today...plenty of content for the price I paid for it.

i guess i didn't word this properly.

even the pages that are not ads seem like ads. its just pages upon pages of tech gadgets.
like the First Looks section. Its just like one big section of ads. they don't really rate or review the stuff, they just tell you what it can do.

and every other page IS an ad. i know they need ads, but holy sh!t, i'm buying a magazine for info, not ads.

With the amount of free subscriptions given away its pretty much expected to be loaded with ads.

I pretty much only get/read magainzes that are free, so I don't care much either way. Plus I'd way rather read reviews and news (albeit is already outdated) in print then on a screen.

no it is pretty much solid adds. thats why i only read it online since i get even less adds for free. I mean, if i pay for it, why should it be stuffed with even more adds then the free online version?
