Especially considering the brands you used before, and the subsequent results of using those brands, I certainly would. It may not be a Seasonic, but it's a solid PSU with a great warranty.

It seems to be $105 ($85 AR). XFX 750W XXX is $85 ($75 AR) and it's a Seasonic built unit with semi-modular cables. I'd rather have that one

Bought a PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk II 750W with free dvd 99.00 for a new build.
I am running a 930@4200,1.31v 18g of mem with a 5970 + 5870 using a old orignal PC Power Silencer 750W
Thats 3 5870 style GPUs on that old 750ps.
I also avoid using a Modular Power Supply on a high draw system.
On a non stressed system a Modular Power Supply i cool.

I have never heard of PC Power, but it is 80 Plus Silver.
They were one of the first ps with a 4 plug pci-e in that time range.

Could cause more resistance and or heat at modular plugs.
Back in the amd cpu days I had two different mb smoke up the 20 pin power connector on the mb.
After replacing the ps connecter and cleaning ps mb connecter both pc still worked.

$40ar is a sick price for a 700W unit. As reviewed by hardwaresecrets, that's a decent unit. It's just 80+ bronze but whatever, it's only an issue if you don't mind fan noise at higher loads

I don't like rebates because they are annoying to do. plus you can lose warranty.

$59.99 still seems like good price.

I don't think the cables are sleeved on this power supply though. might look ugly.
