OK, my PC is a couple of years old. I have a Corsair 620W PSU and X1950 Pro Gfx card, plus usual bits.
Computer was left on whilst i watched TV yesterday, came back into the room and the display was kinda garbled (some blue lines across the screen). OK, np, lets reboot. I could hear the fans start, then a dip in RPM, and then fans speed up, and repeat. Not good, so i power down, check everything is plugged in (push in RAM, etc...). Same thing happens, no BIOS screen, no MB message, no GFX card message, on screen. So i give it a good clean using compressed air. Start again and it starts but with a BIOS message about OC or incorrect voltage (soz, can't remember exact message.) so i go into BIOS and load default values. PC starts, and it looks good, played WoW for a couple of hours, then shut down PC. This morning the same startup problem happens. I repeat what i did last and it is working again (no BIOS error message this time). Any ideas on whats wrong?
