Pc vs Console gaming debate

I would like to hear people's opinions on why they think either platform or PC gaming is better/more balanced as far as price, graphics, performance, games available ect.. And also how you think new consoles will stack up against the PC in General! I've always found these debates to be interesting so I would enjoy hearing what you have to say! I personally play on PC and like having an edge on console gamers but I understand that not all people want to, or can afford to build a gaming rig. I would like to point out though that you can build a perfectly functioning gaming PC that will still run at a much p better performance rate than a console for about 600! Let me know what you think!

Pc gaming is the superior platform. It's basically unlimited potential vs a mid to low end hardware locked console. The only reason console is relevant is the console exclusive games. If they released all games to pc there would be no reason at all to own a console.

I understand it's the superior platform but is the price to performance level better than a console? I think maybe the way of gaming should go would be to make a upgradable console kind of like a steam box of sorts!

Thank you for telling me! But is not ok just to get a second opinion on it from other people? Isn't conversation just really a process of going over and over things until it makes sense with different opinions all being weighed in? I mean Im guessing literally everything has been discussed on this forum except for the Most obscure subjects, so unless it's an exact copy I think it's fine to rerun though things! This particular one for sure was a little stupid but the other ones are just askin for fun!

As the moderator said in the thread Soundmanred linked "This has been discussed ad nauseum here and it never goes well. The two forums are separate for a reason." And, as Soundmanred suggested, please search before posting to see if threads already exist on the subject. While you may want to start a discussion on a subject because you are new, our other members may have already discussed that subject and are going to have the same opinion they already expressed and are not interested in going over it all again.

this is a thing that has been discussed everywhere. unless you're completely new to internet, this has been heard over and over again at various places all the time, not just here and now. hence, the reaction.
