PCI graphics card

Hi all,
I am the 'pooruser' of a Compaq with i810E-DC100 chipset without (!!!!) AGP port.
What is the best performing PCI graphics out now.
I've seen GeForce 2MX cards in both AGP and PCI versions from Creative. How huge is the performance difference?

You're still OK since you're still talking General Hardware stuff. Anyway, AGP is of course faster than PCI, but if you only use your 'puter for Office applications, Internet and other non 3-D applications you shouldn't even notice the difference. Since you do not have a lot of choice which card to buy you should be OK with a GF2 MX.

I put a Voodoo4500 in my PCI slot, no probs and works well.
But I hear everyone loves the GeForce models.

I was thinking of doing some gaming, I'm not a hardcore-gamer but now and then. The i810 works suprisingly good in 640*480 and 800*600 but would like to have some more 'ooummph'.
Running a Celeron 500 @500 and soon to be 190Mb RAM.
Any comments on TNT2? GeForce 2MX would probably do the job just fine but wouldn't it be limited by the bus and processor.
The Voodoo 3 can be had for <$40 but I live in Sweden and companies in the US are reluctant to ship sometimes. Anyhow, keep the replies coming.
