Ok, It seems that after installing ps3/4 controller support though scptoolkit and xbox controller drivers have been getting blue screens, this may not the cause though

I'm also not getting memory dumps to my knowledge

I have since disabled every driver that was installed though scptoolkit, though this should be the first time nothing of the drivers loads

I don't want to move to windows 10, If I can prevent it I don't want to reinstall win7 as it involves buying a new hard drive as I need to reinstall with only keyboard support till i install usb3 drivers and then nvme to move it over to the drive.

It would really suck if it was a hardware problem and I find out only after I reinstall.

Anyone able to help?

Looks like a driver problem. I would suggest uninstalling all drivers along with any associated software you installed related to the controllers. If this stabilizes your system then try installing just one of the controllers at a time to see which one is causing your problem.

going to be doing this next blue screen with a restart.
When I wrote this it was just after the first crash which still had the drivers load up at all, everything should be disabled from both installed things so this should stop it. i'm giving it about 1 month before I do anything with the controllers again barring any kind of a blue screen happening in the meantime.

Have a question, there is one other program I had running I think each time I blue screened

https://github.com/hydrusnetwork/hy...drus.Network.299.-.Windows.-.Extract.only.zip

this should be an extract version, I use the install but really they should be the same, just one is easier on updating. Is there anything in here that would lead to this bsod? im working on a very short time frame for when the bluscreens started, because this program updates every wednesday, and I installed the controller drivers, I have had two new version installed since the controller drivers were installed (mar 4th) and I havent opened the program since the last blue screen, I'm on day 2 of uptime almost exactly right now, but now that I think hydrus may have been the program that was giving me a problem, or at least had potential im not opening it either, I just installed the new version of it but never opened to confirm it working.

-------------------edit adition--------------------------------

I just looked at steam, I want to say that the day I tested the controller out was the 10th with a real game, redout, so that I would say was a good 6 days of no blue screen and possibly 1 less version of hydrus to worry about, just remembered I had sent my little brother a message when I blue screened, one was on the 18-19th (I was sleeping) and another was on 17th and the most recent one I believe was on the 20th, I honestly can't say when the first one/two occurred, as I wouldn't have said anything, the messages use to go by to fast for me to gleam much of anything off of them, and i'm use to getting the odd one once every few months courtesy of nvidia drivers and skipping around in videos.

Its entirely possible for this issue to have started before the 14th, if anyone is able to go through the hydrus zip and tell me if something in there could toss this blue screen up that would probably be my first thought, and due to weekly releases may have fixed itself with the update. The main reason I don't want to open it up and check if it is the case or not is when it improperly shuts down it has potential to screw an archive completely, I don't want to risk that if at all possible and I put off opening it because of that.

however hydrus will do things in the background, and something there may have caused the error, while I don't believe the controllers will call on the drivers if one isn't plugged in or on... it would also explain to me why the blue screen didn't happen immediately when the controllers are used.

I'm just trying to rule things out as possibilities, besides hydrus and the controllers, anything I have installed in the last two months doesn't get touched unless I touch it, beyond that it would be something installed mid december that gets touched daily, and from there you are going back 6 months at least.
