PCI what should i do

this is my problem i have a dell with a pIII 800 running on a 15 inch moniter... main problem is the video card is integrated so i have to go for a PCI 3d card... i was almost going to pick up a voodoo5500 pci and end of dtory but with the recent problems with 3dfx i think i should stay away for that product. creative labs has a 3D annihilator2 MX in pci form which seems pritty good i think. also on the ati web site here http://www.atitech.com/na/pages/products/pc/radeon32/index.html there is a radeon 32 non ddr video card which looks good tooo.. no i was in love with th voodoo5 5500 pci with fsaa but i dont know about getting it... i play quake3 and most of the easports games some unreal and some times i play racing games... still i taught the voodoo5 5500 pci would have been perfect .... so with the system i have which video card would be the best??? and how much of a hit do the annihilator2 mx and radeon 32 non ddr pci take in pci form???

one problem i can not find any body selling the radeon 32 pci so it may be a problem getting one..

finally any canadians who know of places with the best prices on video cards please help, i know onvia canada has a coupon thing so if you have a coupon # help out a fella canadian...

again i am looking fo the best video card to take advantage of my pIII 800..... thanks

Just because 3DFX went down the toilet doesnt mean the Voodoo5 turns into sh!t! It is a very fast card indeed and very awesome! You will love the Full Screen Antialiasing! It kicks ass. My opinion is to go for the Voodoo 5 5500 64mb PCI and forget picking up a Nvidia GayForce series....

you know what i really like the voodoo5 5500 pci and i was going to get it but if i am gona get it i have to wait at least a few weeks to see what 3dfx is going to do and if the price dropped... but what do you guys think about future games will thay be supported even if 3dfx dies... especally easports games.... and just a final question what fps in quake 3 should i expect with my system and the v5-5500 and for that matter from the other 2 cards ati and nvidi.....????

after reading the review on ati radeon 32 sdr it seems to be a pritty good card but the review did not mention if it was a pci or agp card i assume its agp so do you think the pci version will perform worse/??? also the article mentions that ati has crappy windows2000 drivers will that affect me since i have windowsME ........ also how dose v5-5500 perform under windowsME ???

Go here & you can select which review you want to read Video cards all listed A to Z,Nvidia has the best Win2000 support & overall best driver support ,driver wise your WinME drivers comes under Win95,98 drivers type. Note the 3DFX cards come under the 3 heading in my Link.

i have raed most of the revies and thay are all for agp 3d cards and hardly any pci version reviews only the v5-5500 pci which got a good review but as fo the ati and creative labs card the reviews are only for the agp versions... so i am really trying to find out wha the performance hit will be under pci wersions of the same cards....

Why don`t you read the V5 5500 PCI & V5 5500 AGP review then you can compare the difference FPS wise between them.Btw they have a PCI & AGP Geforce2 MX card review here for Leadtek review

MEM>>>after reading the review on the gforce2 mx pci version i think it is a good choice over the voodoo5 5500pci since the card will be supported in the future... just a few questions dose the creative labs version of the mx pci have the tv out option.... and to all you 3dfx lovers give me one reason for not going for the groce2 mx pci version the performance is just as good and nvidi is still in business pluse tv out....
