*edit*

I see by your sig your running 3 sticks of ram, must be a 754

He can be running 4 sticks (512x2 + 256x2) and still be running dual channel (768mb per channel.) Thats actually the config im thinking of setting up.

~9250 (can't remember exact number, but it's on file at futuremark so I could check if anyone calls BS ).

I just ran it again with NVidia settings on "High Quality" and got a 9009.

No, as I understand it the default settings are presumed when you post the score. So your score fits right in. It also says a lot for the SLI setup that you could have a 3000+ and two 6600+ cards and still rack up a score that significantly outruns mine, which has a substantially faster CPU. Awesome. You did good.

Are you sure you don't mean 3DMark 05?

The highest score for PCMark last I checked was 9000 and that was mainly because the guy had a superfast SCSI array... your system probably wouldn't hit 9000 AFAIK

Actually you can post your (extremely unlikely) score.

Check "publish" next to your 6726 and then link it please.

If you really have a score that high your system is something amazing, but I strongly doubt that you do.... I'd be surprised if you scored above 4500 unless it is because of your ram speed specifically.

Yeah - I meant 3DMark05, not PCMark05 I always get those confused.

For some reason, I can't get a score at all on PCMark. My comp either reboots, or it finishes and I don't get a score at all (?). I gave up on trying to make it work.

I'm sure my comp would score great at pcmark - but I'm sure it wouldn't do 9000.

Oh ya it would. If you had that guy's scsi setup you'd probably be able to near number 1.

You must install AMD cpu driver to get a score on pcmark 05

You know what, I wont bother running it. Everyone here has a venice overclocked to high hell or a X2 so its not even interesting.

Plus its optimised for the P4 any way

Come on Shenkoa, this thread could use more real pcmark05 scores. My winnie did just fine. Seems to me quite a few in here are running pcmark04 or 3dmark05.

Single core, normal oc (2.5-2.6) should get around 4000.
The X2's are going for 6000 and up it seems.

A single core score of 5000 and up seems suspicious to me without link or screenie.

Remember people PCMARK05 !!!

7226

EDIT: just checked - this is the 5th best score of all X2s tested.

I just ran it and this is my first score ever. Thanks for telling me to dl the amd driver- worked like a charm.

By glancing thru the scores on this thread, this seems like a pretty good score - I'm happy.

I may tweak some settings now and see if I can improve my performance. Actually, I'll be tweaking all sorts of them, since I have a DFI Lanparty sitting on the table, and new water cooling stuff coming in the mail. I am sick of my ASUS not giving me more than 1.52 actual volts no matter what I set it at (a common thing for asus premium owners), so I'm switching to DFI to see if I can get more out of my chip.

I don't know much about pcmark05, but I think I may be able to get over 8000 with some more voltage and tweaking of settings.

Here's a link to my 7226.

I don't know what is standard scores in the different categories, but I only had like 16mb/sec on WinXP startup- that sounds bad, shouldn't it be higher? I'm at work and I'm curious about this stuff now that I started looking at the different scores I got in different categories.

Nice score for an AMD ElTorrente:thumbsup: I wish I could get your hdd scores, that would put me over 7500.

Here is mine, water cooled cpu, stock air cooled gpu, single 74gig raptor. Hdd speeds are everything in this bench. My score is 8th on the orb overall and the top 2 are using ram drives so are actually invalid.
