All the ones I associate with because I don't let them run local with admin rights, which is really all the "proper management" you need. would you like me to show you how to do this?

If the Windows user isn't running with local admin rights, then both platforms have nearly the same chance of getting hit by Malware or Rootkits, which is pretty much zero. If you care to dispute this, I'll point you to links that will prove it.
So, what I'm getting from you guys is the following:
(1) If you run Windows, you must surf with local admin rights so you can catch all those nasties and hence give Linux and OSX users something to mock you for. However, if you run Linux, please try to use an account without /Root rights because it's safer.
