Hey. I'm hoping someone can help me here. I want to buy a PDA but am unsure what will work best for me. Currently, I'm stuck between 2 choices; Asus a626 or Ipod touch 8gb (price is roughly the same for me when both have 8gb).
My requirements (in order of decreasing importance)
1- ability to keep track and manage calendar tasks (like appts) and tasks (even better if the tasks can be set to be recurring)
2- mobile browsing/screen resolution
3- 3rd party support
The last time i used windows mobile, I had an Ipaq 1910. I loved using it (eventually stolen) and the today screen with tagenda worked great! But I have no idea what improvements and changes have been made with Winmo 6. The A626 unfortunately is limited to the same resolution as my old 1910 and i've read that the wifi is pretty weak.
In regards to the ipod touch, the interface appears to be better without the need for a stylus, the screen resolution is higher (320x240 eventually was a problem when trying to read more than a few lines at a time) but am completely at a loss when it comes to calendar and tasks. i was looking at the intelliborn app for it to give it that winmo appreciation of a schedule.
I was thinking of a phone/pda option but I don't want to get rid of my SE K790a and I have a feeling that when the Xperia X1 is released, it will be prohibitively expensive.
