PDF help

So im applying for summer school and i cant sumit the form. No biggie ill just attach the file to an email and send it to them. Theres the problem. I cant save the pdf.

When ever i try to save it it says" canot save data typed into this form"

a) If using Foxit reader, try simply doing a Save instead of Save as PDF.
That works for me.

b) free pdf to word converter. OpenOffice Write or MS Word will open the converted file.

c) another free pdf to word converter. PDF Converter (at least it was free to me, dunno if still available free.

d) lots of free pdf to other formqt converters available on web. Lots of 'em. e.g.; here's one, etc. etc.

Make youe edits to form in Word then save back to pdf to submit to school.
OpenOffice does that, or if you have Word you can download a free plugin to also enable Word to do that

.pdf files are a nuisance.

Yea i totally agree .pdf is a huge hassle even at the dawn of the information age

Another workaround would be to fill it out, print and then scan. That is if you have a scanner

Yes..........thank you for supporting my comment that .pdf files are a nuisance. what a hassle.

Or use your digital camera or the one on the phone if you must

I never install Adobe Reader on a machine unless a client insists. My preferred reader is PDF-eXchange which is free and includes a lot of features that are only available in the "professional" version of Acrobat.

In this case, I would download the file (right-click > Save Target) then open it in PDF-eXchange and fill it in. If that won't let you "Save As" with the form fields completed, use the "Typewriter" feature to fill in the blanks and save that.

The PDF is protected from editing by source. Chances are they wanted you to print it and hand it in or mail it in.

Easiest way around it is a PDF Printer.. There are a ton out there that allow you to PRINT to pdf.

just print it, and print to the pdf printer that the app installs.

It will save it in PDF format.
